was at academy and saw this on the shelf and figured id give it a shot, never used any pre workout before at all, only been using on amino energy powder for the caffein.
tried the total war today and felt absolutely nothing, no extra energy, none of the advertised benefits, workout felt a lot harder than when i was using the on branded energy powder.
did i waste $27 on this or am i just doing it wrong? was looking at maybe trying their halo and moab stuff but not if its as useless as the total war was for me.

Total war is garbage. Same thing happened with me. I've used many pre workouts and this was one if the worst. I hope for redcon the rest of their products are much much better.

I enjoyed Total War. It can be a little hit or miss though and sometimes the energy seems a little bit below what one would expect based off the label (the old aminoisoheptane version was better than the current iteration too). Make sure you shake the tub well. The tub comes fill up to the top with almost no slack volume. Just make sure the scoop you take is getting an even distribution of the ingredients in the tub.

Unfortunately, my experience was the same.
I’m a big fan of preworkouts, especially when the profile has one or two different ingredients. I’ve used so many really good ones, some tasting great, some giving awesome pumps, some giving instant energy, some giving long lasting energy, some leaving you feeling euphoric. Unfortunately Total War did totally nothing...not even the caffeine buzz and energy you get from the cheapest Walmart pre or Nutricost brand.
I almost wonder if I got a bad batch?

The Total War I have is 350mg of caffeine and 100mg of DMHA (or something really similar to that). So, it works for me. But I almost never use it because I'd rather the 200mg/200mg of OG Kraken for my DMHA fix and I like to max out at a single one time dose of ~300mg caffeine which makes the Total War I have a little on the strong side lol
The newer formulation(s) didn't appeal to me so much

Outlift, jym, animal fury. These work the best for me. I look for something with around 300mg caffeine, 6 grams of citrulline, 2 or so grams of beta alanine. Everything else is pretty inconsequential.
I've used many others but those are my top three.*High Test Crew*
