I don't think this is a fake rape accusation. I think if it was, conor would have tried to pay her off to avoid going to court, having things get drawn out and public, and the false accuser would take the money. the fact that it has been getting investigated in Ireland for months suggests to me it was a real assault.
I think his retirement is because of the rape allegation, other legal battles, drug abuse, avoiding drug testing and not wanting to train and cut weight and get hit anymore.
