Night crew, any of you have comps on your pistols? Do they really make THAT big of a difference?

And it's snowing like a biotch here.
I swear you can set a clock to the SUVs here. They're among the first vehicles to get stuck in ditches every time it snows.

I mean, we’ve sold thousands and we’ve never heard a single customer say they didn’t notice a significant difference in muzzle flip.
It’s $80. Just try it, not like you’re out of hundreds of dollars. You’d be amazed the difference in muzzle flip even with plain old 115gr range loads.

The book sounds like a rip off of HITMAN chronicles and VINCE FLYNN"s mitch rapp series. take a shot every time an author says "The Farm".
This Enemies:Foreign and domestic book is taking forever to get through. the font is super small so its really like a 1000 page book in normal font. can't find use copies on amazon so i had to dish out 20 bucks for it. Pretty crazy how the author depicts how H.A.M. americans go when gubmint bans 'semi-autos' lol. lets just say it doesnt end well for the libtardian gubmint'ers6 scoops of xf up2.0 a day

Got pulled over for the first time since I began carrying today in Chicago’s southside. Officers roll out the car and come around both sides of my car, rolled down all my windows and put my hands on the steering wheel. Asked if I had a foid or CCL, I said yes and they go where’s it at? I’m wondering if he’s asking about the foid/CCL or assuming I have a firearm in my car. I asked the permit or the gun and he goes the gun. I said I have two and he goes two?? I go yes.. then he goes ok where’s it at?
I tell him appendix and jacket pocket. Tells me to keep my hands on the wheel, reach with one hand and unbuckle seatbelt, then he grabs my arm and reaches for the belt to pull it off around my arm.. tells me to step out the car and keep my hands on the top of my car. Pulls my glock out from appendix and then starts searching my pockets for the bodyguard lol.. they hop in the car to check the numbers and then he goes btw you’re not going to get a ticket, thanks for complying. Drops the gun in the back of my car and says go ahead load it back up and you’re good to go, thanks sir.
I can’t find some .380 rounds ffs lmao
Smooth ass interaction with the popo. Once he found out where I worked he’s like yeah now I’m seeing why you carry two guns, good job!“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” - Benjamin Franklin

I couldnt imagine living in a duty to inform state^
If I'm not being suspected of a crime whats on my person or in my car should mean fuk all to the police
edit: Glad to hear it went well and they were atleast courteous/respectful6 scoops of xf up2.0 a day

Yeah. I live in a duty to inform state. Fortunately haven’t had any instances where I’ve had to, but to me it just seems like it would bring unnecessary added crap to the stop. Like in wakaaa’s case. If the cops roll up, you roll all your windows down, your hands are on the steering wheel and you admit to having 2 guns.... you’re probably not planning to ambush the cops. Instead of just “ok leave your hands where I can see them” it turns into an unnecessary handling of a loaded gun (well two...).
Relent, I’ll start checking out comps when I get back from my trip.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

As sketchy/jumpy as some cops are, I think it’s stupid to not just be strait up and tell them you’re legally armed and where it is. I feel it’s more for my safety than theirs.
But if you’re all mUh rIgHtS then by all means - don’t if you don’t have to.

One time I did not inform, and towards the end of the stop the officer asked if I was armed (bumper sticker indicator), I of course said yes at that time, and he said that while there is no duty to inform, they do appreciate the courtesy of informing.
If it's IWB under at least one layer of clothing, right handed, behind the hip, being sat on, covered by the seat belt and the car seat and the center console, and I'm not doing anything but sitting there, I have zero concern that its presence may become known before I inform the officer(s) that I have a firearm
I'm sure we all know this, but, don't ever say the word gun during a traffic stop, even to tell them you have one.

NC is duty to inform but I haven’t had to here yet. In Georgia I had a dips!t Barney Fife incident with some dumbass nervous rookie drawing on me and telling me to unholster it and unload it in the middle of nowhere. I refused to touch it, told him he was free to remove it himself. They’re just looking for a reason at that point. And for some reason the dash cams in those agency cars were always “broken”.
After he finally calmed down he was playing with it and wanted to talk guns and be buddies lol
They know when they pull your plate before the stop if you have a ccw. If they ask they are just wanting to see if you lie about it.

Hnnng'in hard at your guys ability to carry.
Just curious and apologies for sounding like a noob since I don't own a handgun (just applied for my sportsman/home defense permit though, NY of peace), but do you guys carry everywhere or only on specific instances?
Honestly I'd like a CCW just to have it. They're never going to give you more rights, so you better exercise the ones you have now when you can. I could see myself carrying on instances where I have a lot of cash on me, probably wouldn't carry just going to the store. Not much crime in my town, though, But that's just me, not saying you guys shouldn't.*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

Even if not duty to inform, tell them. Throw your wallet on the dash, put your hands on the steering wheel and let them know as soon as they roll up. Usually they end up respecting you for that and respecting that you carry. Will often times get you out of a ticket.
Just bought a 2019 Camry. Most boring car purchase ever. : /. O well. Drives pretty nice actually. I didn’t want a 1k car payment or to sell off a bunch of stock for a down payment or something. Those tundras and sequoias were tempting though.
