GENERALLY SPEAKING, people settle down with people that are of similar levels of attractiveness.

Yes most people do that doesn't mean a good 30-40% aren't on similar levels of attraction. Keep in mind most women lose 1-2 points easily without makeup and stuff. There are plenty of people who do all that and still can’t find someone with mutual attraction and mutual interest in dating.

The fact is you don’t know how you would do yourself in the current 2018 dating market if you got divorced. You just assume you’ll easily find a cute girl who you can take out to dinners and the movies to let something grow.

But that is just an assumption because plenty of people can’t find that. For some people yes it’s easy but for others it’s not. You really don’t know until you’re in the current dating market yourself.
