His speeds are probably somewhat correct, it seems that speccy shows the half-speed (think half since it's dual-channel). So you do 666 mhz * 2 = 1332 mhz.
https://old.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrac...ng_at_666_mhz/
But he should check that they are physically placed in a dual-channel mode and set the speeds to 1600 mhz in bios. (800 mhz in speccy)

Anyone in here rocking ThreadRipper 2? Thinking about pulling the trigger when my wife isn't looking.
Curious to know the performance on Windows 10. I won't be running Windows on it full time, but I'll probably have to use it for firmware updates, etc.Moved Squat, Bench, and Deadlift to Yoke, Log, and Stones.

Now put them in RAID 0.
I have a TR1 (1920x) at the moment, but considering getting a TR2 2950x eventually. The 1920x is pretty speedy. You can run it in "Gaming Mode" in which case it disables 6 cores and amps up the remaining 6 to perform better in gaming, or you can run "Creator Mode" which enables all the cores (for things like video editing)."That boulder is too large. G-Sync is pretty gimmicky for me
I don't see any real value in it, lots of others will disagree though
yeah my buddy picked up a pair of 1080tis for $700 last week on craigslist >
so jelly
if you look around you can find em for $400 for sure
idk what you're seeing, but eBay has a good amount of sub $400 1080tis, and is really saturated at $450-$500 each

Anyone knowledgeable about surface products? I need something for basic browsing, streaming, and some MS office like word, excel, powerpoint, onenote.
Was thinking about a Surface Go. Everyone bashes it because of the Pentium Gold CPU, but most reviews say its amazing regardless. A Surface Pro 5 (2017 version) would be about $200-300 more for an i5, but I dont want to spend that extra money unless the Go really can't handle MS office suiteAcne Laser Surgery: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=170189721&page=1&highlight=acne+laser+treatment

I myself bought an iPad 2018 with the Apple Pencil to annotate and take notes from research papers for my thesis work. I use it to compliment my laptops and workstation and it works flawlessly. At first I didn't use it for else than the pdf reading, but now I read newspapers, other news, lots of streaming (twitch and youtube), OneNote, Outlook, Word and much more. It's really convenient and fast, just how I guess Apple have managed to keep having customers despite charging a premium. The integration with Sonos is extremly well executed, without having to log into anything else than Spotify I can just choose to play on my Sonos speaker. The same goes for printing, it just automatically found one of my printers on the network without any need to setup anything.
The iPad 2018 edition is the most bang for the buck tablet you can currently buy on the market since the only competition in the "high" end segment is Samsung and Windows, both charging considerably more for their offerings compared to the 2018 iPad. Of course you could take into consideration the Huawei, but the quality isn't as good as the competition. Sony have unfortunately stepped out from the tablet market, which is a shame since they had very thin, light weight, high performing waterproof tablets.
Price comp:
Surface go - 540$ (amazon.com)
Surface go keyboard - 130$ (ms.com)
Edit: can be bought from MS on Amazon with both for 616.99$ 8gb/128gb
iPad pro 10.5 - 583$ (amazon.com)
Apple Smart Keyboard for 10.5 - 99.99$ (amazon.com
(Smart connector for the keyboard - really convenient with magnets)
iPad 2018 (9.8") - 364.94$ (amazon.com)
Keyboard case (3rd party) - around 50 or so bucks (amazon.com)
(Additionally if you want you can buy the Apple Pencil for 94.88$ (amazon.com))Last edited by MrJensenn; 10-03-2018 at 01:02 PM.

My pc is garbage. I bought a 1050 ti the other month though. (seems like gpu's have dropped in price since about 3 months ago, this cost me £200/$230)
Playing every game really well surprisingly, I thought the cpu would kill it but I'm getting really high fps in gta v, cs go etc. Only game I'm having trouble with is pubg. The loading's slow as phuck.
Do I need to upgrade cpu to fix that or is that a ram issue? I've only got 8gb of ram. Just looking at upgrading my pc bit by bit.
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
RAM 8.0 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 17134), 64-bitWRB :)

Hey men getting ready to build a new PC. My current build is 6 years old, with a 660TI and i5 3570k
Gonna be going bigger this time.
Want this new build to last me a while just like my current one
Just cant decide on the GPU. I'm gonna be getting a 9700k when it releases, and am looking at either a 1080ti or rtx 2080.
I think the extra features with the 2080 are gonna be sweet once they're utilized (I want this thing future proof like I said)
But dont know when they're coming out with the 2070Ti..
What do?

I was playing Arma 3 with a friend the other night and he was complaing he was only getting 30-40fps which seemed bizarre considering he has a i5-8600k and a 1080. Turns out his CPU was hitting 95C and throttling, on further investigation, he'd left the plastic on the CPU cooler... considering he built it 10 months ago he's a lucky boy.

CAM is a large pile of trash.
Slow, telemetry, spies on you and whatnot.
