So when I win the lottery and buy, among other things, an overland expedition vehicle, I'm going to have to get a Sherp to go with it

Been saying this for a minute now. He needs to roll this plan out in about 15-18 months. And mean it.
It was bad. But as we watched, I predicted the last several minutes of the game. Frost wasn't ready for this, imo.

Do any of you leave your car keys in your unlocked car outside overnight?
What would you think of people who did that and defended it?

Conclusion: Idiots
People like that invite crime/victimhood. Same kind of people who put all their crap in a gym locker without a lock . . . and then complain about thieves taking their stuff. WTF is the possible argument for leaving your keys in the car? Convenience? You can't remember to grab your keys off a hook or shelf when you leave or to keep your keys with you when you go somewhere?*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

Somebody local had their car stolen. I asked if they left it unlocked with the keys inside. Out of like ten replies, so far every one has been against me
"Even if the doors were wide open....if there weren’t any low life thieves walking around, the car would still be where it belongs!! Wow what difference does it make if the doors were unlocked!? A THIEF stole a car. Blame the THIEF - quit questioning the victim! Smh."
"Thank you! If I want to leave my damn keys in my car on my property I have every right too!!!"
About ten people support that, zero me, when all I did was literally say "Was it unlocked with the keys inside?"
And people wonder why we have a huge problem locally with unlocked cars being "broken into" literally every single weekend or holiday. This is not the first one stolen with the keys inside in the last year. There has also been a gun stolen from an unlocked car. But the majority are in favor of leaving cars unlocked, even if your keys are in it.
I just...don't...understand
Then again one of the ones with their car intentionally unlocked who was pissed people rifled through it is a cop, so...I don't ****ing know

People have odd things that they insist on doing that defy logic. Yeah, maybe the world shouldn't be full of thieves . . . but the simple fact is that the world IS full of thieves and they prey on people who make it easy for them. Don't want your chit stolen? Don't make it easy.

Yeah that's basically what I just said, along with I would hope my neighbors don't do this because juicy target that invites the thieves to come around...I'm ready for all of my neighbors to hate me because I think they should lock their car doors overnight.
Nevermind they already do because I've said the same thing basically every weekend for what feels like about a year because literally every ****ing weekend one of the neighborhoods in the area gets hit and 99/100 cars illegally entered are unlocked. There are even people with camera footage of them trying handles and just walking away when it's locked.

There's a German saying, "Gelegenheit macht Dieben" or Opportunity creates Thieves.
Not locking your car with the keys inside is insane.Florida Crew as of 3/21

And we are talking overnight unattended with everybody asleep, this isn't pumping gas or washing your car or running back inside to grab your sunglasses. Not that that's a good idea but it's understandable when people do it.

ayup
About a week ago one person reported that their unlocked car had their garage door openers in it, and the door from their garage to their house was unlocked. Face to face with the perp in their house.
Yeah.
He ran out the door...thankfully.
And yet, here we are...we should be able to leave everything unlocked don't tell me not to!!!
I. Cannot. Comprehend.
It is going to knock up a notch. You know it is.

Colorado even started sending one copy of vehicle registrations without an address that you're supposed to keep in the car. This was done because so many people had their cars stolen or broken into with garage door openers inside and a convenient address . . . where the owner wasn't because the car wasn't there.
Seriously . . . people can wish the big, bad world away if they want but you're a moran if you live your life ignoring the facts.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

That's a smart idea at least on CO's part.
Which reminds me of something really ****ing dumb. Cars whose glove box won't lock. My dad's glove box doesn't lock. WTF is that? Sure it's not that hard to defeat a locked glove box, but, that whole opportunity thing...an awful lot of scenarios where a locked glove box will keep what's in it, in it.

This is just getting better and better.
Not.
God damn people are so ****ing stupid.
Camera footage now shows it was coordinated with multiple vehicles of multiple people lookouts etc...so what is her solution? Patrol the neighborhood at night. Why? Because locked doors and keys inside and alarms don't work. Literally. This is the argument being put forth.
*facepalm*

Or was that another retarded thing Georgians living around him were considering/bringing up to the board?
Also, Germany?? HNNNG HNNNNNG that German engineering. I still need to tell the gun counter guy to LET MEE SEE THAT HECKY KOCH pronto.

First 200 rounds through the Shadow and it's pretty obvious the gun is better than I am. It's legit though. If you don't have a CZ by now, you're wrong.
