    SBDs losing pop?

    Hi all,

Had the same pair of SBD knee sleeves for about 3 years now. Just curious - How often do you replace your sleeves?
If you want it bad enough, you'll find a way.

You should probably replace them every 1-2 years. Maybe a bit sooner if you use the STrong sleeves...

Mines never really had pop. But after 2 years of pretty heavy use they are much easier to put on than the new ones I just bought. I bought a new pair due to the old ones starting to smell really bad, but I've decided just to keep training with them and use the 2nd ones as a competition pair. They do feel much tighter on, so if by pop you mean tight and more sturdy feeling then yeah that tends to go over time but not really a huge amount.

My STrong Sleeves are starting to break down as well. The foam is beginning to tear within the outside sheath. I'll probably keep them for training until after my next comp, when I will use a new pair of sleeves (probably SBD).

Keep a pair to compete in and a pair to train in.
I wouldn't replace them until they crack or get holes.
