I took a trip this weekend to gym equipment review videos from people with few followers. It was a dark and scary place full of Titan fitness. I saw guys with hundreds of dollars in bumper plates talking about how they couldn't justify a decent barbell. I saw a man squatting backwards into a pair of monolifts. I also skimmed a 3 part miniseries about the titan 1000 lb bench(very long story he could have gone to a hardware store and spent $2 in bolts to fix a problem that he spent about 2 hours discussing on youtube). I did pick up one nugget of good info though guy was using bolt on cambered bar ends to ohp in a low ceilinged space. I know for me if I tried to use anything bigger than a 25 I'd destroy something and have to ve very careful with the 25s.

I can't OHP with anything larger than 10s (I have a bunch).

I don't know about swinging but even when they are fixed, the center of gravity no longer being in line with your grip - it's not fun.

This was somewhere in a comment and he said for his axle bar which would probably be worse because the weight wouldn't self center but would be constantly trying to twist out of your grip. I doubt that you could ever go really heavy but it would definately be hard.

My crazy afternoon.

An officer with a three letter government agency we deal with on a regular basis told us this morning he is going on vacation for a month. About an hour later I get a call on my phone asking for him. I ask the person how they got my number and they say they called XXX-XXX-XXXX. I'm like that's his number not my number why are you dialing my number. So we hang up and they call me again saying they are calling his number. Now I'm like wtf so I call his number and it rings my phone showing the generic routing number in another state on caller id that they use.

So now I'm really thinking wtf and call another officer in his department. She starts laughing and said he must have pushed the redial number when he was setting his forwarding number. She offered me a job taking their department's calls since they don't have a secretary. I got a call back about five minutes later from the officer with an apology.
