There is no specific IQ test in the military, but certain batteries of the ASVAB are highly g-loaded. That is, they have a lot to do with IQ. And if you were to compare those ASVAB scores of candidates with their actual IQ scores, there'd be a high degree of congruence. In fact, I'm pretty sure Peterson clarifies this in that video or elsewhere.
Second, he is pretty much equating fit for service in the military with fit to function in society. Huh? Quite the jump there. There are definitely sub-83 IQ individuals out there working in society, so it's unclear what his point is.Infantry Crew
