Those are very impressive, it makes me bummed because I am straying from snakes and toward birds.
Birds can bond with you, immitate you, and even talk to you. They can talk like a bird, or talk and sound like YOU using their mimmickry. Birds like african greys and amazon parrot can also speak using emotions. Like if they get in trouble by you, or are for some reason are mad at you at the moment then they can say words angrily. Or if they're in good moods, then they will speak happily. They dcan copy your words or song lyrics with such clarity and vocal range. Birds can even sing. They LOVE music, unlike most critters when you must provide a quiet stress free environment. So that helps me cause I love my music loud.
Parrots are among the smartest creatures in the entire world. They are capable of having the intelligence of a 4-5 year old human.
Wow man, those ears really do get ya!BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

Yes, all mine and all spoiled . They don't actually ever ride in the bed of the truck...I just put them in there to take the picture. They get to live the life of luxury inside the house . I would never recommend having this many dogs to most people, but it works for me as I'm retired and live out in the country on 14 wooded acres.
I have to limit myself to only ten or so, though, as it does take a lot of time to give them all the attention that they need, feeding times, grooming and bathing, etc, but I'll continue to rescue as many as I can as long as I'm able.

So all rescues??? Swoon!!!!! Rescued is the best breed! I think thats so awesome. I'd love to have more, but my pupper is dog reactive and can't be with other dogs. I think that's actually a good thing or I'd have a house full of them! lol
Awwww...... pretty little kitter! I have a big dog (pit/lab mix) in a tiny condo. He gets multiple walks a day and I have a hallway that goes back to bedrooms to throw his toys. He's a low energy dog, so it works. A GSD prob would not, depending on their personality. You'd have to find a couch potato pupper for sure.
That puppy is just too adorable! I love puppies but would never want one. Way too much work. How old is he/she and your little white doggo? Very cute!~ In a world where you can be anything, be kind ~

Thanks! She has been some work but only 1 accident in the house in a year so not to bad.
Great danes make wonderful apt/condo dogs. Have had 2 of them on acreage and in apt/condos. The GSD just turned a year old on Sunday, we live in a condo and she is a pretty good dog. Doggy daycare where she can swim and run around for 10 hours makes the week easier, then IPO work on the weekend and daily training and playing make her a pretty calm dog. She is about at the limit of what I would want in a "drivey" dog.**KNEE DRAGGERS UNITE**

Oh yeah, 1 accident is not bad at all!
Yes to the Great Danes, I know someone who had a Great Dane in an apartment. They're very calm dogs. Also wasn't thinking of doggy daycare since my pupper doesn't play well with others. lol Training/brain work are good too. I think too many people get dogs and don't really put enough thought into what breeds would work best for their lifestyle. If you get a GSD you need to have the know how and ability to get their energy out, which is both mental and physical.~ In a world where you can be anything, be kind ~

A sad story, but a happy ending.
I was on my way home last night on a country road near my house and caught the reflection of a bunch of little eyes in the glare of my headlights. I pulled over and found an entire litter of puppies that had been abandoned on the side of the road with no food or water, along with the mother and another male who I'm assuming is the dad.
My neighbor and I were able to round up all the puppies, but the mum and dad were so standoffish, that I couldn't get them in the truck, so I ended up just building them a makeshift house for the night and left them some food and water. I went back this morning just before dawn and found them both asleep in the crate I had set up for them and was able to get them both in my truck and reunited with the puppies.
So...anyone need a puppy ? I'm working on finding homes for them now .
The mum and the dad in the makeshift house I made for them (both enjoying the heat in the back seat of my truck)...
And the puppies...
