Cannot recall in recent memory an incident with a nurse. Doctors, on the other hand, have been a constant source of irritation ranging from arrogant to completely unless. Female doctors are even more nauseating.

Friend works in the hospital. He says a lot of the nurses have affairs and fuk the junior doctors who live their like crazy. No that surprising really though. Suppose they need to relive all that stress somehow after cleaning up chit all day and pretending they don't hear the dying coughs of elderly people they secretly dislike!

Nurses have disgusting jobs. I can do a doctor job (4th yr med student) but not a nursing job. Wiping down elderly people that have been sitting in their own feces and urine for the past month is not something I can do every day. I watched nurses scrub down a feces covered patient for over an hour and another nurse get spit on and cursed out by an old man with dementia who then leaked blood from his ass and mouth before going into cardiac arrest and dying.
Maybe that example is extreme but I can guarantee this, a hospital with only nurses will run okay, a hospital with only doctors won't last a day.
It doesn't excuse nasty behaviors or adultery but we need to give credit where credit is due.

It is the profession they have chosen. It might also interest you to know that there are professions that get treated far worse and don't get paid half as much and with zero protection like unions to protect them form exploitation. Nurses have aids and assistance.

Lol. My roommate and I started and ran a rugby club from scratch, I was an RA for three years of college, worked part-time, and still finished nursing school with a 3.8. Anyone who tries to play like it is incredibly difficult is kidding themselves. It is literally just good time management principles and not letting yourself get stressed out to the point you don't function.
Needless to say I dated outside of my major because the pity party cry circles were too strong. There were maybe a couple hnnnnggg student athletes (volleyball) nursing majors that were tolerable.MISC Blood Drive (MOD REPS): https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175220881

there are nursing unions and they're horrible for patients. I have an ex whos an ED doc in NYC and said the nurses would straight up refuse to do work if they felt like it and would get into shouting matches with physicians. ****ing lol refusing to draw labs or perform basic wound care because their union said they can. I'm usually pro union, but when you fail to care for someone based on your union, then **** you.

Male nursing student checking in. There’s about 7 dudes in my nursing cohort and the rest woman. The amount of complaining the woman in my class is outrageous. Always posting on social media how tough it is, how hard they are studying, etc. The only dude that does that in my cohert is homosexual. Nursing school really isn’t that tough to be honest. There was probably one semester for me that was a little grueling, but other than that very doable.

Some nurses are a joy to be around (and to look at). The problem comes when some of these nurses start saying siht like "I could have went to medical school, but I wanted to actually be closer to patients" or "I'm a nurse, we save lives" or "Nurses care more about patients and doctors only spend 15 minutes at most" or "Who do you think takes care of you at the hospital?"
It's like they live in a bubble and toot their own horns so much it's disgusting. For everyone saying nurses are so smart, no offense but you likely have limited exposure to nurses. Just ask anyone else in the health profession about nurses in different hospital systems (academia vs county vs private), and it's a world of difference.
Do you know how many of my buddies have fukked countless nurses on different floors, raw dogged, and more, all because these nurse THOTs are looking to get knocked up by a doctor.
Do you know how many times a nurse will page us about a patient's "pain" or "constipation" or any other menial siht at like 3am, only for us to go see the patient and the patient is either sleeping quietly or laughing at the TV. It's like their logic goes out the window 11 of the 12hrs they're in the hospital.
And if I hear one more nurse say "We basically do what doctors do except we're at the patient's bedside a lot more". Well bich, since you've been trained to do what a monkey could do, of course you can spend all your time chatting with a patient (assuming you haven't taken your 5th break of the day and your 2hr lunch). They get mad when they have more than 3 or 4 patients...try being responsible for 6-20 patients a day and even more at night, and each patient can potentially die on the floor. Meanwhile the worst thing you have to worry about is cleaning up their siht off the floor.
Like I said, a lot of nurses are super cool and many are smart, murses are even cooler (for the most part), although black murse brahs hate like a mfer in the hospital and wish they had my medical clout. But really, in any given hospital setting only about 10% of nurses know wtf they're doing and why they're doing it, the rest are just there for a paycheck (and to go on multiple breaks)
