    Enough protein?

Goal is to lose fat and gain lean muscle. I don't have a lot of fat to lose so mainly continue to tone. Currently around 135 pounds and 5 foot 5 inches. I drink 2 protein shakes (I scoop each about 25 grams of protein) and have a good amount of lean protein along with veggies at night. My question is should I add another protein shake during the day?
    Thank you.

Better to get as much of your protein from real food as possible. Not sure why you'd drink protein shakes (3???) when it's not all that hard to just eat real food, but if your normal diet is really deficient in protein, it doesn't matter. You only need around 100g per day (some may argue 1 g per lb of total body weight, but I find that excessive and unnecessary). I hit 100g every day and never drink supplemental protein unless I'm on the road the whole day.

This isn't part of your question, but, losing fat is going to be more about how many calories you are eating, and making sure your program supports muscle growth or at least maintenance during a caloric deficit.

Thank you for replying. My issue is I don't have time and dont get hungry throughout the day, hence the shakes. I train hard and long in the am. I just want to continue to make gains such as getting more toned.

Making gains comes down to taking in enough calories to support the goal. You can't build something out of nothing. Protein shakes are a personal choice...I prefer whole food sources.

What does that even mean? "Refer to your body weight"?
