Serious. In fact, I invite all my cycling compadres to join me on the IF train. I think it's more about forcing someone to do something that should be their choice. Fortunately, in the U.S. its done by state, and from what I know, is only a legal requirement for minors.

The nanny state is a major contributing factor in why younger generations are maturing at a retarded rate compared to previous generations. The other major contributing factor is the omnipresence of technology and availability of information. Although these are just theories, I could provide substantiation but not sure this topic would be appreciated here. But, what I'm saying is that having government regulations on every simple decision we make, even down to whether or not we should wear a helmet, has a damaging effect on society. In case this post is being misinterpreted, I will add that I wear a helmet on every ride and I think it's a very poor decision to not do so. But not because the any governing body is compelling me to. I'm able to compare pros and cons and understand the weight of risks and come to a decision on my own.

If y'all don't know about Honey Stinger waffles then you need to acquaint yourselves with them. I've been eating them for a few weeks on and off the bike and they are banging. Especially the gluten free ones. Not because gluten free they are just good.
Also, Betty Lou's fruit bars. Think fig newton's but twice as good.

Nice times. I'm really happy with how much my swimming has come on recently, can comfortable swim a mile in ~30mins.
I also no longer die when cycling the tri route, apart from slightly when the gradient hits 28.6% lol
Lost another 4lbs, closing in on 2stone lost and may just be able to finish the tri in one piece..

Nice man, I'm swimming in about 40minutes but feel fresh as a daisy when I get out of the water. VS when I started being dizzy and seeing spots!
My tri route has one steep hill which I'm pretty comfortable with but the rest is super flat which is nice, including a slow descent back to the run.
Going to be doing 2 bricks per week for the next few weeks until the tri, to get my legs used to running fatigued.S/B/D 195kg / 125kg / 237.5kg

Took my bike to the lbs today and got a rear brake cable replaced and my gears adjusted as I can't be bothered to sort it myself.
£10. Total.
Bargain.
So 10 mile into my ride tonight. 32mph and a wasp smashes into my face and gets stuck in my glasses. I bang it off and it lands next to my nut sack.
It was an uncomfortable final 30 miles.Ride it like you just stole it.

For every headwind, there is an equal and opposite tailwind, remember that when you decide which direction to ride in!
Nice ride last night, spent the first half trying to chase down a buddy of mine who was out on the same route but it wasn't meant to be. Fried my legs and just span out the last 20 miles and tried to enjoy the scenery.
First time riding without earphones in a while too, which was surprisingly enjoyable.

You know how y'all were telling me to get the caad12? Well my dealer has a 2017 Supersix Evo 105 on sale for $1850. I rode it and it's sweet. Smoother and more compliant then the CAAD imo but just as stiff. I think I'm going to buy it. Baby blue color, pretty slick looking.
Then I'll put some good wheels on it.
