God the last few chalice bosses tho. Defiled Amygdala can go f*ck itself, SERIOUSLY. Still haven't killed Orphan of Kos, should go back and do that.
Nioh boss fights are definitely longer. Got my Kelly kill last night (Das it) and the Yamato no Orochi fight takes so damn long.

Bloodborne platinum crew checking in. Orphan of Kos was a phuking impressive fight, literally DBZ levels of speed. Still don't know how I managed to kill that phuker. The most trouble I had in that game was Ludwig though. Every other boss I could beat in one sitting, it may take several hours and a ridiculous amount of tries but I can always manage. Ludwig was the only one that took me more than one sitting to beat. Was a glorious phuking fight though, the way the energy surges off of his sword looked so phuking legendary.

I fking **** myself when the parasite popped out and I realized that was the reanimated corpse of the bloodletting beast I fought in the other chalice
That said, I killed him in a few tries once I learned his move set. He telegraphed the hell out of his moves, though they were quick. I just had to remember to not be greedy with my hits
Always lol when I one shot a boss a lot of people have trouble with. People were breaking down at the time because of how badly Darkbeast Paarl was wrecking them. I was fking terrified going into that fight lol, but I managed to keep her stunlocked by constantly breaking her legs with my ax until she died. Not a single hit on me lol. Completely cheesed.
That said, I was stuck on Vicar Amelia for days, no joke. Ho-lee-fuk @ that experience. Dozens and Dozens of tries there, probably closing in on the triple digits. I don't think almost anyone struggled with her that badly other than me

Anyone else pick up the DLC?
About halfway through and digging the new gear and changes. Like the new odachis but my build is completely wrong for them. Difficulty is also pretty good and worked out well with my level/gear, though one boss had a move that would drop me from 100>5%. Also added Way of the Demon which starts the missions around level 470 and some yokai are perm buffed. Think im hooked again.**Georgia Crew**

Started DLC content on WotS and its a challenge. Started at lvl 215 and most of my gear was +9 or better. 2 bosses midway through gave me some serious problems. Currently lv245/+13 or better and have to watch myself on WotS.
Ive actually been going back and forth between DLC and WotD missions. WotD will net you 10mil amrita and plenty of +9 or better gear a run easy. Picked up a lv174+10 yasakani without realizing it in a twilight, too bad it was a mediocre roll.
edit:reread your post, start at WotS unless youre way overleveled compared to me. And i think youll have to clear WotD to open DLC area on that difficulty**Georgia Crew**

Thanks, man. I'll def start WotS then. I messed around in the WotD for the first region and barely survived the first lvl with Onryoki, the red demons in these lvls are no joke!!!
I'm also not at your lvl yet, I haven't even cracked 200. I might be 180-ish? And my gear was def lacking, I just got a few +10 pieces after that WotD run and they are in the 160-170 range for their lvl.===============================

How is this game compared to DS 1&2 and Dragon's Dogma? I really like the concept of the souls games but something about it just doesn't draw me in. On the other side I loved Dragon's dogma. I think I may just prefer a ability style game over the more hack and slash type games.
Just bought a PS4 and right now only have Madden for it. I'm inbetween getting Nioh or Horizon.

got out of the prison, I can't get past the 3rd leg of the initial area. Save point is so far away and when you get up on that ledge with a miniboss, there's like 8 guys that rush at you.

Kinda mad my 6 month ban was during this games popularity run. Took me 3 months to finish 100%. I loved it. Not as good as BB or Souls, it was just a tad easier with too many pushover enemies like the skeleton warriors. bland level designs etc. Boss fights were intense and well put together as was the leveling and crafting. NG+ is ridiculous though. I think I tried the room with the multiple Kelly's 30X and then the only other missions I could choose from were me having to fight 2 bosses at once n I kept getting rekt. 8.5/10 good play.
