Any thoughts on this GHD? How much would you guys pay for this? I think I can get it for $550, which seems like an awesome deal. Would need to drive about 90 minutes for it.

Ive had both fixed, and rotating GHDs, and I believe rotating pads make the movement more efficient. The only way to make a fixed pad perform like a rotating pad, is if you rubbed butter on the front of your thighs.
Some say that a rotating pad makes the movement easier, and it could, but to keep that from happening, just stop before your knees make contact with the knee support pads and itll keep constant tension.
I have that PL GHD, and its a keeper.EQUIPMENT CREW VATO #72

I have pretty much that exact same Power Lift GHD. It's a beast...super, super heavy duty and stable as a rock. Another huge benefit to me is the footprint is a good deal smaller than other similar GHDs (probably doesn't need as much length to be stable due to how heavy the steel is) which is perfect for a home gym where space is at a premium. It's the only high-quality GHD I could find that would fit in my space. As for the roller pads, that's personal preference. I like 'em.
$550 is a fair price. That's about what I paid for mine.

I have the fixed pad version. Picked mine up for $400 but it's worth more. It's 7 gauge and built like a tank. $550 seems totally reasonable

I used the PL GHD with roller extensively for years. I now have the Rogue Abrams 2.0 GHD at home. The roller does make the movement a lot easier for me but that's fine too and you can always add resistance. I like the Rogue's swing arm adjustment much better but that's about it. The PL has longer handles which really help sometimes, the Rogue's are almost unusable in comparison. I'd jump on the PL for that price. I'd swap mine for sure. Don't think I don't love my Rogue 2.0 but the PL is just a better unit minus the swing arm.

Haven't been able to "rep" many of you for a year or more...not for lack of trying.

I paid 550 for mine too lol
the best part is, you can get a fixed pad from powerlift. the frame is the same. so you could try out which you prefer. not sure what you would do with the extra piece you didn't like lol
its so heavy you can use the front for dips, not sure about weighted, but it supported me very easily.
Id love to try the combo ghd reverse hyper powerlift has out now.▪█───────█▪ Equipment Crew #46 ▪█───────█▪

i love when they throw stuff in for free.
last time that happened i picked up my Ivanko haul and the guy threw in the collars. he listed described them as 2.5lb collars so i figured they were the COTs; nice but not super exciting. turns out they were the COC 2.5 so i was thrilledDomicron's Basement Gym and Fun House
