SBD finally agreed to refund me for the dodgy wraps, they're still trying to convince me that there's nothing wrong with them and that they're deformed due to how much they can stretch and because I didn't wrap them tight enough though. Now to pick up either sig golds or THPs.

Okay I did 3 weeks of Sumo Deficits.. just an inch deficit.

After 3 weeks, my hips was very achey and my positioning on my Competition Sumo was screwed after doing deficits for 3 weeks.. Comp. Deads feels a bit awkward now... NEVER doing them again.

I'm still doing Comp. Deads earlier on the week and Deficit deads on the last day of the week.

Anyone else have experienced the same problem?

Yes, they're not for everyone. You could have tried to put the platforms closer or further from your normal stance to compensate and get your hips in an okay position but overall, I feel it isn't that great of an exercise for sumo. It's a technique lift, to make it better is to keep as close to comp settings, pausing is all I like to do with sumo pulls.

Went to my first usapl meet last weekend, and it prompted me to compete again. And holy balls, there's so many Feds in the south east.

Threw away deficits for 2 weeks and now there isn't any hip pain anymore..

Got some new wraps, THPs feel like they're going to shred my knees and golds are stupidly stiff. Looking forward to squatting now.

Yeah my wrist ones ended up nice and stretchy. The golds feel great, only got five revs but they felt like a slightly thinner but stiffer version of strangs

I've watched them make THPs. They are abrasive due to the razor blade fragments they sew into the rubber

I can't be the only one who enjoys how abrasive thps are

Only ever used 2.5m thp seem to get 30-50kg out of them so seen no need to change

I love it too unless I need to be in them for more than 4-5 sets

Over your raw. Extra weight helps you get through the shirt tension.

I have a 375 at minimum. Don't like going over it cause shoulder starts to feel wonky.

When I try to touch 405 in a F6 I have to sacrifice tension to get it too touch.

Mileage may vary.

Depends on your shirt. At first i needed just about 100% of my raw max on the bar to be able to touch. Last night I failed to touch with.... 140% of my raw max

Sweet to see him coming back. Used to hold the all time squat WR at 1250 multiply. Also pulled 900+ in a meet I believe.

Dude trained at my gym for a while back in like 2011-2012. Then apparently got deported out of Canada cause of gang-related stuff lol (according to gym owner).

We all know there's really three that anyone gives a chit about. USAPL, USPA, SPF (yes some people really care about SPF)

You may need to look into this if you're going to stay lifting alone.
