New lifting belt came in, did some 250 lb squats with it. got some reps, but off the mark lol. only did 5 reps with it (accidently grabbed a smith machine instead of a squat rack) so i had to squat like a girl, bah gahd i suck ass with it badly. especially at 250 pounds standing

Lifting my truck - Are truck lifts/parts generally like gun parts/ammo where its always cheaper online? I'm in bay area CA and have a feeling i'm gonna get raped on high prices and of course taxes. (tried calling local shops today but they are closed on weekends?)

Was going to order lift & wheels/tires (delivered already mounted/balanced) online, then just find a local shop who knows what they're doing to do the work. Any cons to buying online and then having shop do it?

Parts will be cheaper, shop gonna charge you more to install them so probably a wash. If you can DIY obviously way ahead though.

It's common to pay more for labor that way than the parts/labor breakdown if you buy the parts from them. If you find something online at least call some shops and find out what they quote for just the labor or parts/labor both, assuming they can get that same product themselves

Best bet is to find the go-to message forum dedicated to your vehicle and check it out

I bought a leveling kit from a dealer and had them install it as cheap as anywhere else around

It's not really about butthurt, the shop makes a little $ off parts and a little $ off labor. To make it worth their time if you bring your own parts they'll charge full normal labor rate, which is often discounted if you bought from them since they made a little $ on the sale.

Lmao feels. Just dropped about $800 in the past two days. Birthday is next week and parents always throw me a couple bucks for being a good boy lul and that's going right to the addiction.

Swallowed fluid and/or Meconium during birth so has 'aspiration' pneumonia as a result. And as with any aspiration pneumonia, that means bacteria got in her lungs. 7 days of antibiotics as a result.

During birth she was blue and not crying. Oxygen was 50% and she wasn't doing well. Very scare first 20 minutes

Damn, that is extreme pucker. Had a light scare during mine because babies HR was going high after 2 hours of pushing. They were getting ready with the scissors and mama got her out in a hurry just before they were gonna cut.
