Kids in the lunch room can "rap". It takes years to be able to sing opera, learn an instrument, or have your voice be audibly pleasing. No high notes, no low notes, just talking. But wait wait sometimes they talk really fast, so that's supposed to be impressive. It's pretty much music for clubs, imo. They flood the radio with this **** and you get people listening to it outside of the club as well. Terrible, popular music has been a problem; it didn't start with mumble rappers of today. Some people will look at that video and instead of thinking "Wow, there are some **** rappers out there" they think "Wow, all rappers are terrible. Rap is a lost art form."
