Plant Based protein - suggestions/info?
Buying a vegetarian friend some protein and I have no idea where to start because the category has eluded me throughout my fitness journey.
What should you look for in plant based protein powders?
What are the ingredients to avoid?
Are there different tiers of quality? (E.g. pea protein isolate, hemp protein, brown rice extract, etc.)
What are some of the top products in the market today?

Pea with or without Rice seems to be the closest to whey and most effective, hemp is inferior.

Vega has a good one but the best one i've ever tasted is Nutra key Vprotein. hand down the best i've had so far. less gritty than the competitors

I used Iron Vegan back when I was following a vegan diet. Tasted good, had a great profile and had a few options to choose from. I used Athletes blend the most. Was quite good.
