Oats, eggs, milk, assorted meats, veggies, and fruits are like 90% of my diet nowadays. No weighing or tracking

I measure everything I consume to the T. I leave nothing out. I'm meticulous about it.

I'm coming off a dreamer bulk of the Gods where I was probably eating 4000 or more cals per day. Idk if that has anything to do with this.

I weigh myself as soon as i wake up every day after i take a piss. My weight will fluctuate within a pound but it is always right there. Always between 205-206.

Scale weight can stall for a couple weeks, you should get a myotape and take some measurements once a week and record your lifts (weight and reps) if you wanna get a full picture.

My scales have stayed the same but I feel leaner. I actually prefer how I look when I wake up after a night of carbs (ie this morning), my abs seem to 'pop' more rather than being completely flat. Craving chocolate like I duno what right now though

I was maintaining at 3k cals before my cut

Now I'm maintaining at 2.5k cals during cut (haven't lost a lb in weeks)

Going to drop to 2k cals and see what happens.

Also, when people are dieting, they have a tendency of moving LESS during the day. They just lay down and rot during the day and only go to the gym. Do you get up for coffee less, tap your foot less, etc? These all have a play. A lower caloric intake seems to make people just want to sit and relax because they lack the energy they had before (and because the fridge is only a few steps away)



Maintenance calories do drop, but you'll need to see if your activity levels have remained consistent through your whole diet. Move more, eat less.


If you've been dieting for a while, a 3-4 day break may suit you well.

Metabolic adaptation is short lived though, and some time at a higher calorie level seems to fix that pretty quick. A two day refeed isn't enough like it was once thought to be, but after 10 days or so things tend to go back to normal.


Being lighter and moving less has more to do with lower calorie expenditures in my experience, which is why I referenced the ldar lifestyle people dieting tend to have
