Considering getting bread machine so I can make my own bread. The stuff I buy isn't cheap. Always prefer making things from scratch if I can.

I just know bread machine tops the list as one of those things people get, and it becomes another one of the useless kitchen gadgets that takes up space.

I'm sure i'm part of the minority that uses it continually, got one for my parents two years ago as they were always raving about the shredded wheat bread I make, they haven't use it once. smh

I had a friend who had one and used it all the time. This was Boulder, CO and she was a little bit of a hippie, so part of it for her was avoiding preservatives and whatever, but she also ended up saving a lot of money. Plus the bread was really good, I mean hard to argue with fresh homemade bread. She said it was really easy to use. Obviously doesn't last as long as store bought though so it's less useful if you're one of those people who has like, 4-5 sandwiches per week and that's all the bread you use.

I just like the idea of being able to make multiple kinds of bread and switch it up often. I don't think I'd have a problem using it in time.

I really don't get the BCAA thing. I only tried one flavour mems recommended and it sucked. Never tried again.
