Man o man! those arms rival Roelly Winklaars for all out fullness and freak factor, probably in my top 5 best arms of all time, just as good as Lee Priests arms.

For those comparing Pastel to Nubret I don't know if you knew that Nubret actually trained Pastel, I've an old magazine from 91' in which the pair are interviewed together, off the top of my head sure his arm routine is back and forth bicep and triceps exercises for 40 sets or something!!

I agree, while his arms were great nobody is touching Roelly apart from maybe Paul Dillet. Pastel holds his own against Roelly in the bicep department but it's not even close in the tricep and forearm areaOriginally Posted by mikieson

I never understood why someone like Lee Labrada, with no legs, would get 2nd place at the Mr. Olympia while a muscle phenomenon like Thierry Pastel could never make the top 6. Bias judging at its worst. Thierry Pastel deserved a place amongst the very best at the time, namely Shawn Ray and Lee Haney.
