So I hope the next two debates are moderated by someone else? Guy last night was obviously biased as fuk. Trump should say either the next moderators aren't liberal as fuk or he isn't debating. Frankly , I think he's better off not debating anyway. But a 2 v 1 debate, which is what we had last night, is pretty ****ty.
Also please do better on the next two debates, Trump.
Pls.
Pls.

That was hard to watch boyos.
He had so many opportunities to go for the throat or just lay out a solid explanation and just couldn't do it.
I was watching it with two liberal girls who just mocked him the whole time. I explained to them what he was actually trying to say (or should have been saying) and they were like "oh, well that actually makes sense then, why didn't he just say that?". On presentation though, I had to agree with them. Even though she has no substance, Hillary was able to polish a turd of a policy to look 10x better than Trump fumbling and stumbling over some sound concepts.
....frustrating to see the conservative approach/mindset represented so poorly
I honestly feel like I could have done a better job than he did.*MFC*

I wish Gary Johnson had been there. Face it, he's a goofball, but he's not a wimp, and has no problem being seriously pointed. He could have wrecked them both on the economy and deficit, which is the main point they should have discussed, but avoid like the plague.

Last night was not about "going for the throat". He's still convincing the masses, who's only knowledge of him is what the leftist mainstream media has conjured up (i.e. not presidential, the biggest threat to their safety and the safety of the country, a racist, liar, jerk, etc), that he's not the boogie man. He accomplished that last night in a really hostile environment.
To us, it might seem like he lost the debate. But that may actually be exactly what he was trying to do. He needed show restraint and control. He did just that by not crushing Hillary.

My plan now is to just stick my head in the sand and avoid all election coverage and discussions until November 8. Whatever happens happens. Also I feel like I'm set on guns, ammo and mags, but I also feel like I should be stocking up more. I really need to cut down shooting hundreds of rounds per week and save up a little.

Morning boyos. Didn't watch the debate, lost in 3 of my 4 fantasy leagues (3-0 in mfc though) and now at work.
This sucks. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Goofball, yes. Wimp? No, you do do what he's done in his life by being a wimp. Put him nose to nose with either of the other two and they'll crumple like the paper tigers they are.
And really? He's not a real libertarian? That's your complaint? In this election where one is a scheming duplicitous liar, and not a real liberal but actually a chickenhawk in sheep's clothing, and the other is a scumbag grease ball attention whore who can't formulate a cohesive plan, let alone sentence, and isn't even a real Republican, but actually a liberal in a clown suit, that's your ****ing criticism? I hate that line of thinking.
'er, damn, trumps a douche. Hillary is a liar. They'll ruin the country. Oh, Gary? He stumbled on a question once, **** him.... '
****ing America, we:re doomed.
Edit: sorry bro, didn't mean to jump on you like that, specifically. I just hear that a lot, triggered, waaaa.Last edited by poison; 09-27-2016 at 08:17 AM.

Yeah. BOTH Clinton and Donald support that those on no-fly lists should also be barred from buying firearms. Finally, lets just get some arbitrary list out there and start deny gun rights from people who haven't yet to have proven by a court to have broken any laws. I hope we can eventually just get an arbitrary list to put people on to throw them in gitmo. If they cannot be trusted to fly, then they cannot be trusted to live free, amirite?
Clinton went on to gab about universal or comprehensive background checks.
Went out and bought another stripped lower (Aero for $75 on backpage, wooo!), and another 12 mags.I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

No.
So much this. I'm really bad at saving money lol.
Nonfat greek yogurt? Gross.
I'd still like to see him on the debate stage with those two.
What's better than a dumpster fire?
An even bigger dumpster fire.
Gary Johnson is not a Libertarian. At least not in the way that most of us think of ourselves as Libertarians. Not to mention that his VP candidate is an anti gun ****head.RIP YGST

At first glance across the interwebs this morning, it seems many are saying Trump won, and that (mo)Lester was biased. Even the fat blob of scum Michael Moore said Trump won.
Trump needs to stfu about stop and frisk and say he will stop crime by bringing back the jobs or something else. Does the GOP base like stop and frisk?

No . . . the fact that he's not really a Libertarian is far from my biggest complaint about Johnson.
Have you watched him at all over the last several years? He's been around awhile and this isn't his first shot at trying to be president. He's failed before to crack the top as a Republican. He ran in 2012 and I thought he was not very compelling back then. He certainly did not make anyone crumple at that point. Then he came out with the initial crowd for the Republican nomination this latest cycle and couldn't make it . . . so he became the darling of the Libertarian crowd for some reason. Now he's just basically "the alternative candidate who can't win." He's like the leftovers in the fridge that nobody really wanted . . . but someone threw a little Ketchup and garnish on him to try and dress him up as something else and put him back out on the dinner table to see if anyone would eat it now.
You're probably right, though, that America is doomed . . . as evidenced by the fact that Hillary and Trump both got this far and that a Socialist was so popular. The only hope for a more liberty-minded candidate to win is to try to take over the GOP. And since it didn't happen this year, you pick the most conservative/libertarian candidate who can win and try again next cycle.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

Is there any way to adjust or loosen up a magazine release button? The mag release on my XD is insanely too stiff. It's practically impossible to operate as is.

We need a pro gun, anti-drug war, pro-border, anti-imprisoning non violent criminal GOP candidate. Someone that doesn't get caught up in running on non-impactful issues like gay marriage and abortion since those issues are already largely decided and spoken for (and therefore a new candidate won't be changing).
We really need a candidate that hits the Hispanic population. The writing on the wall is there that their voting constituency is going to be the most important in the nation in 25-50 years, and is incredibly important right now. Instead of proceeding forward as "anti-Immigration," the GOP really needs to hammer what their immigration pattern will look like. A pro-safe/responsible immigration that is healthy for the nation and values productive, hard working immigrants. Immigration needs reform to protect the immigrants that come here so they aren't swinging hammers or picking fruit for $4 an hour and not paying into our tax system, etc. and so we can also keep out the people who want to come here and contribute to the black market of drugs and gangs... which we could pull the rug out from under if we did a lot of decriminalization.
The marijuana one is the hard one. In my area, all the old conservatives are very anti-marijuana. Any time a crime related to marijuana happens they say "SEE!?!?!?" which speaks poorly of defunding the DEA and the drug war.
I think the next 20 years both parties are going to go through an evolution of sorts, but the republican party has go through big changes.August 2023:

I'm not sure what is is about Libertarians . . . but they always seem to find weird people as their flag bearers. Ron Paul, for all his ideas, just was not a very appealing candidate from a communications perspective. To me, he always seemed kind of confused and not very articulate at all. Rand Paul can come across as an arrogant douche. Now along comes Johnson who isn't very good at geography, acts goofy in public, sounds like Mr. Rogers on acid and apparently is incapable of combing his hair at times.
If a Libertarian candidate who could speak compellingly and coherently and who had a powerful presence would come along . . . he (or she) could probably take the GOP over and make something happen. But it's probably never going to happen as a 3rd party.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*
