Expressing concern about a 70 year old with a neurological condition experiencing seizures, coughing fits, and needing help from several people to remain upright taking on the most important job in the world doesn't necessarily make one a fan of the reality TV show alternative with an orange tan and extravagant combover.
I've said it before but I still can't believe it's come down to these two.

There's a huge difference in cuisine with the different regions and ethnic groups and colonial histories in India, but assuming it's your standard all-encompassing Indian restaurant here's my decidedly non-expert advice.
A couple safe standard dishes found at your average American Indian restaurant:
*Tandoori chicken is probably the "safest" entryway for someone. Chicken covered in yogurt and spices and cooked in a tandoor (a cylindrical clay or metal oven).
*Another popular dish is chicken tikka masala, basically boneless tandoori chicken served in a spicy red cream sauce. Or chicken curry, which is boneless chicken pieces stewed with tomatoes, onions, and typical Indian spices (cumin, turmeric, coriander, garam masala).
*My wife's favorite dish is rogan josh, which is stewed lamb in a sauce of yogurt, onions, and spices.
*If you want something a lot spicier, go with a vindaloo, which is chicken/lamb/fish/whatever in a curry sauce with f*cktons of chilis and/or cayenne pepper. Be warned: they might not go easy on people, and then your rectum will not be happy with you. At all.
There's a ton of great side dishes; go with whatever sounds good. Indian breads are great, and the main one is naan which is very similar to pita.***Anyone With "Crew" in Their Signature Sucks Balls Crew***

Countless times you've mentioned you've chosen not to pay any attention, chief. I could look for joocy quotes but there's no point. Also, it's not a question of access to information, as one could make the case that my client's have access to all the same information that I have. Yet here I am, accepting on-going fees and commissions.
My streak extends to 0-5 in opening week luck games. (If I kept SF in at D I would have won easily).
Now the real fun begins, managing the process and getting the train on track.
LOL, just LOL.

Naldo gave you good recommendations. My favorite is curry chicken. more curry the better there. There is a pretty decent indian buffet right near my work that I'll go and gorge out on. They always have the chicken masala, which is good, but I would rather have them make chicken curry (as I like spicier dishes). Periodically they'll do goat curry, but I can't be bothered to deal with all of the bones and fat that comes with it.
I don't know the names of the side dishes, but most are good and worth a try. Read the ingredients to see what matches to your tastes and you'll be fine.
Naan is delicious, especially when fresh. What humors me is I never had naan until I went to Afghanistan. My friend's family would always make chapati. It is like a tortilla that is a little fluffier. But I never see chapati anywhere nowadays. Everyone loves naan and restaurants make sure to have that on hand.

That was back in the day when other mods were quietly watching you and if you'd been here for a few years and hadn't been banned you might get asked to do it. Now there's a moderator application form. Times sure have changed.
If accepting was good for anything it was to help keep this thread going during a couple of shtstorms.
