Hey, so I'm cutting and thought I might as well do it the best I can and enter a competition.
I pretty much decided last minute to compete, I'm 5 weeks out atm and honestly I really don't care even if I finish last, I just like to challenge myself and this gives me motivation to push hard in this cut.
I'm currently on 2k cals KETO, cardio [HIIT 3x a week] in the morning and weights at night. Weight atm approximately 165lbs.
Based on this pic, do you think I could get in condition for the show in 5 weeks?
Also, please share ANY tips you can (such as how to change diet leading to show, how to carb up properly without looking bloated etc); this is my first show ever haha and I'm a complete noobie at competing but excited as hell.
ALSO: I AM FLAT IN THIS PIC (DAY 5 OF ZERO CARBS IN THE WEEK)

Based on the picture if you really cut hard enough I believe you can be ready in time, but I think doing this you'll lose a bit of muscle.
There should be plenty of local shows going on year round so even if you aren't ready in time (but I think you will be) you can just change shows.
And looking pretty decent btw!

Thanks man!
Yeah I'm pushing harder than I ever have in this last 5 weeks haha, I know I'm bound to lose some muscle but hopefully not too much!
Also I'm got a holiday planned a couple days after the competition in which I plan on binging on, so it's this comp or nothing which is giving me that extra determination.OG

you could make it down in 5 weeks mate definitely, however, I would think that you will come in fairly small, youd probably be looking at dropping another 10lbs at least, and at your height that will leave you looking kind of skinny on stage.
definitely think youve got plenty of potential, but id say it might be beneficial for you to give it a little more time and gaina bit more size first!
that being said, if you are excited, then go for it, jump on stage, enjoy the experience, its a blast.Insta: @Stephndunne

Yeah deffo will be smaller than wanted but that's why I chose mens physique not bodybuilding :P
Around 3 weeks out now, carb up plan is to carb up the Monday before [shows on sunday] big time with 1000g carbs [as ive been doing all prep], then continue my normal diet Tues, Wednesday and Thursday, and see how I'm looking on Fri and adjust. If flat add a little more carbs, if I'm still spilling then lose it etc.
Pic I took yesterday, and yeah im excited!
