Hi,
I'm interested to know how much weight you guys are using for good mornings and front squats. I feel a 1:1 ratio sounds about right... to me the lifts look as if they should be equally difficult for somebody with well-rounded lower body strength.
I asked the head coach at my gym (he specialises in Oly lifting); he looked at me like I was insane and told me you should be able to front squat much more than you can GM.
Personally I can GM my 1RM front squat (250lb) for 5 reps easily, but my quads are still underdeveloped compared to my posterior chain.
Thanks.

Yeah sorry, I should have been more specific. I do them like this (not me in the video):

Low bar, flat back and always parallel to the floor.

Those 2 lifts are not comparable at all. GM won't be anywhere near a front squat max. Think about it....GM uses only your lower back, core and hips. FS- full body, your quads alone provide more muscle activation than what's happening in a good morning.
Lift light until you can lift right
