Lol @ everyone saying "they were both in the wrong" as if what the kid did was anywhere near as bad as what the cop did.
Did the kid even technically do anything wrong? He explained to the cop that the window was broken -> cop goes around and tells him to get out(does the kid legally have to get out when he did nothing wrong?) -> kid asks if he's under arrest -> cop ignores and proceeds to shoot kid with taser and yank him out of car, then drags him and purposely drops him on his face
The cop is 100% to blame in this video. None of this "oh well they both did something wrong" bullchit.

Think about it this way: what if a random gangbanger came up to you and demanded you gave him your wallet or he's gonna **** you up. Are you gonna be like "what you hassling me for?" repeatedly or are you just gonna give in and hopefully count your blessings that he didn't severely injure you?
You have to deal with cops the same way. They have the same gangbanger mentality. A little pushback is fine ("Am I being detained?", etc.), but don't try to be cheeky with gangbangers.
But not all gang members are violent. Some are pretty chill and are just trying to make some paper.أشهد أن لا إله إلاَّ الله Ùˆ أشهد أن Ù…Øمد رسول الله

LOL @ ppl negging me,
brb kid doesnt try to act like a badass, gets out. Cop cuffs him. If it ws a mistake it is checked and cleared up within 20 minutes. (then he can proceed to file report / sue)
But no, kid wanted to act like a idiot and a badass. So yeah even though the outcome was unexpected. He still deserved to be tazed and rips out of the car and cuffed. SIMPLE.
what is this person would of been driving visibly drunk, and you're family was in the car he t-boned on the next red he ran. You would be thankful the cop did this. Or any other lowlife to society that deserves to be banished.
Yeah sure, the outcome sucks. But in the end if the idiot would of just got out of the car, nothing bad would have happened (except maybe if he did have felonies/warrants he would be on his way to jail) deserved everything he had coming to him for acting like such an idiot, and its just unfortunate he doesn't have the genes of the gods to allow him to be able to take the voltage and walk away fine (like many would)

I'm generally pro cops in most of these videos that get posted, but that guy needs to be fired and go to prison. Drops the kid on his head? Wow what a scumbag.
Are people really saying what the kid did was wrong? You only have to roll your window down enough to talk. Should he have rolled it down all the way?? Sure, but he didn't have to.
Imagine if this happened to you. Then the cop just orders him to get out? For what? The cop is terrible at his job and clearly can't control himself under stress.
Damn he only got 4 years? Fuk that guy.Last edited by Mudshovel; 06-09-2016 at 12:36 AM.

This is what happens when two cnuts meet. It's just one wears a badge and has power over the other. The cop is no doubt one of the 'bad apples' and has zero patience and will reach for the taser and baton for nowt, and the other is a c9cky little **** who's parents not doubt let him do what he liked and were not strict with him.
When I was his age, I had a few encounters with cops because all my friends grew up in a bad area ,and I learnt from my friends real quick to just be polite, respectful no matter how unfair you 'think' they are being and they will let you on your way. 99 percent of police officers just want an easy life and to go home to the wife and kids. And they last thing they want is a load of hassle with placing someone under arrest and taking them down to the police station and booking them in or even worse a violent incident with a civilian which could be career ending for them or put their own life at risk cops are human beings ,most aren't walking around trying to start ****.
These young kids don't seem to realise, if you act the cnut with them all you are doing is making your own life difficult. I blame social media, the education system and modern parenting. If they were street smart ,they would know it pays to butter cops up but not excessively. Just smile, be polite and that cop might remember you another time if you are involved in something and tell other cops you are a good egg. If you meet the 1 percent of cops who are cnuts, still be polite and just do what he/she says but after the situation ,not during when things maybe heated the cop has his blood up speak to a lawyer or make a compaint to his boss at the police station.I bang trannies.

Truth.
I may be the only one to have read the article but the kid had been caught twice with dope. His parents told him he was the victim of an illegal search, hence why he resisted and started trying to ask the cop what he was being arrested for etc..
Of course the cop was wrong, and should get more than four years. But letting your kid smoke dope and telling him not to cooperate with the cops next time? Idiots.2023 bertie awards 2024 nominations

So many miscers defending the cop... Saying the kid deserved it, he should have complied blablabla... You guys are heartless scum.
If you had read the article you would know the kid was being profiled by the local PD and that his dad (a POLICEMAN HIMSELF) told him he should assess his rights when being stopped. The kid tries to tell the cop he cannot roll down his window, the cop immediately gets mad, the kid panics and tries to do what his COP dad told him was right. It's a 17 yo kid FFS! ofc he's gonna panick when a cop pulls a taser on him for no reason, the officer was in no danger at all and should have acted accordingly.
The same miscers that are saying "forgo your constitutional rights and listen to the police officer bc it's how it actually works" are the same one mindlessly repeating "having a gun is my constitutional right etc etc etc no matter how dangerous it is I'm gonna keep it".Always pick #4 crew

The only thing he did wrong regarding getting caught with dope is getting caught. So the parents teaching him how not to get caught makes sense.
"hence why he asked why he was being arrested" Is that legitimately what you're mad about? That he asked why he was being arrested?Lakers|[great basketball]|Yeezy Season

Lettuce be real tea, it's a cop and therefore he is immune to extensive punishment as this man participated in a police academy that my grandma could complete. He carries a badge and demands respect in which he abuses on a regular basis.
Above all, his lack of education regarding the usage of the tazer, communication skills, patience, and inability to observe that this teen is in cardiac arrest is sickening. Why is he not performing life resuscitation measures considering this guy should have BLS under his belt, after all he is a first responder right?
You'll be negged for voicing your opinion on the matter with cops/military personal swarming these boards. Just like any other career, you have dip****s. This guy deserves fifteen years minimum with an extended rehabilitation measures afterwards. The impulsiveness, aggression, and anger within this mate deserves plenty of a$$ pounding in the big pen.Orthopedic Murse - Lifting Patients For a Living

Cop is an absolute piece of sh*t. Fine, tasering a non-complying suspect is one thing (though still uncalled for in this case), but sending a charge into him for 20+ seconds then dragging and dropping his unconscious body? That is absolutely savage. This fukker got off easy and is giving cops everywhere more bad publicity.

He does. He gets angry/upset often. Has common short term memory loss (He yelled at his mom one morning, took a nap, and then his dad told him to apologize to his mom but he had no recollection of the event. He simply thought he had slept in late.) Something about him not being able to play sports as well - he had a limp in his left leg after the accident.
Cop got off way to easy.
