That's it everyone, we're making it! Hunger is psychological, after 1 hour the hunger subsides. Ate below 1000 cals last week, sometimes even nothing. It was my finals week and it has shown me that hunger truly is in our minds.

164 lbs today, progress so far has been nice and steady, looking forward to being below 160 hopefully in 2 weeks time.
Running is getting so much better and with over 30km ran every week at below 6:00/km, + 3 strength sessions + 1600 calories every day I would be amazed if this doesn't work
In fact this gives me a 10 pounds (and a bit) loss over the last month - it works :-)

Woke up at 239 this morning. I will take that as a win for the week. I was worried about the scale after all the graduation parties we went to. Congrats to all graduates of 2016.
@EmmittSmith22: Circumstances may force you to change your short-term goals. That doesn't mean you can't stay focused on your long-term goals.

148.0 this morning, down 1 from last week. Did 3 hours of gardening/yard work yesterday before my upper workout. I wasn't sure how the pulling exercises would go after that but I ended up having no problems. I'll take that as a sign of improved general fitness. Alooking, I built my tomato cages out of rolls of fence a few years ago and had to cut out spots so I could stick my arms in to pull out weeds. I realized yesterday that I was easily putting my arms through the non cut out areas while weeding. I realize that wouldn't be a plus for any of you guys who want bigger arms but it was for me.

Will send in current weight tonight. Didn't have a chance to weigh this morning which would have been nice since its after the fast.
Congrats to everyone who made a dent in their weight this week, big or small. To those to barely budged or even went up a bit, you're still winning by being in this group. Keep positive and stay motivated.June 1- Aug 2 2016 Fat Loss and Motivation Thread

While I'm here,
What is that one food that absolutely destroys your goals of staying under cals.
-Mine is lasagna, I love me some good ol' lasagna. How can you not have more than one giant serving of cheesy goodness?June 1- Aug 2 2016 Fat Loss and Motivation Thread

First week not too bad, wish I got gotten a little more but yesterday I lifted pretty hard - Quite sure there's some water retention going on.
I should probably take a rest day, I've been in the gym 27 days in a row. Lifting 3 days a week, every other day I do cardio.

Weighed in at 193 today, down 3 pounds from last week BUT only back to my pre-vacation weight from two weeks ago.... at least I'm back down.

I thought you were joking at first... I am not an expert but I'd strongly advise you don't starve yourself at 1000kcal all the time (I'm shorter than you at 5'3 and my 1600 daily intake is still 200-300 lower than most suggested intakes to lose weight that I got from calculators).
Sure you might get noticeable results faster but just think of how badly this could affect your wellbeing (both mental and physical)
