STEM degree nerds are the biggest copers.
Go out to any Engineering facility and a girl is super rare, let alone a girl that looks average. They are also delusional as fk (at least the ones on the misc) that think they will be ceo 10k/a day from their Engineering job alone, not realising they usually cap out."Power is always dangerous. It attracts the worst and corrupts the best. I never asked for power. Power is only given to those who are prepared to lower themselves to pick it up." - Ragnar Lothbrok

Yea.
But the males are actually fun blokes and chit. I am not a STEM student or a Tradie, and I don't intend to be either. But my tradie friends are much more fun to hang out with, theres a reason you find a disproportionate amount of STEM students on forums like the misc, cus their socially awkward irl
And its easier to get your own business/work for yourself as a tradie, so I would rather than that go into STEM. Not to mention most people equate stem with engineering here and other degrees in STEM like physics can probably earn you more than Engineering (though arguably harder to do)."Power is always dangerous. It attracts the worst and corrupts the best. I never asked for power. Power is only given to those who are prepared to lower themselves to pick it up." - Ragnar Lothbrok

People will pay you more because anyone who's willing to take less pay is either not able or willing to do what you do. So basically, your pay is based on your skill level. Some professions pay better than others but they are actually closely aligned.
No matter what profession you choose, if you keep expanding your skills set, you'll make more more money or at least have a better position. To get a STEM you already have to put a lot of education and dedication towards just making it to the first step of the ladder, while with most trades the first step is much lower. Most tradesmen only climb up a few steps and then either get comfortable or don't know where to step next. Also, most people who aren't willing to put forth the effort it takes to get a degree lack either the ability or don't have the drive to achieve much in the first place. However, some do, and those will prosper.
When you hear about people in trades making really good money, maybe they work a bit harder and have a bit more skill than most. Some are in Union jobs which are disappearing every day. On the flip side, plenty of college grads who aren't doing well at all. In fact, when it comes to long term unemployment, and "I've sent out 1000 resumes and not one callback" it's college level type jobs. Sometimes I feel for the managers where I work because even though they are paid well, they always have an ax hanging over them and I see them get fired all of the time over things they often can't control. Unless I do something stupid, my job is safe, and even if I did get fired, I can get a new job real quick and I make over $20/hr doing what I love. I put out a profile on one site and ended up taking it down because I got tired of multiple emails a day. Feels good. Also it's proven that once you make over 72K a year the happiness level actually starts to drop. Of course if you like to show off because it covers up your insecurities because you care what others think so much, so you need to make 100-200K a year, you've got bigger problems.

Both are garbage. Oh i make 70k year salary look at me.... lol thats 1500 a week. Terrible. At the end of the day you're trading hours of your life for a slave wage. Your all slaves....slaves to the dollar..and slaves to your bosses...probably slaves to the fancy car payment and the mortgage...Slaves to your filthy habits...You guys are all dumb. You see society is setup for the majority to live a mediocre enslaved life. Thats all you. Doing the mainstream thing is working for someone else so they can profit off you and throw you a small bone, do that for 40-50 years then retire....aka be free, finally achieve freedom when you're life is almost over. But now they brainwashed you into thinking you have to wait 4-6 years for a piece of paper that you owe money for just so you can earn money. So now you're 25+ years old with a negative net worth and you're just now entering the system. Damn they fooled you.
When you take the blinders off, you will recognize immediately that you're all arguing over whose the best slave. Who lives the best slave lifestyle. What slave has the higher status. The sheep continuously fall for the slavery indoctrination. 99% of the jobs out there are all slave wages. You guys are trading 5 days for 2 most of your life for peanuts. If you don't build your dream someone will hire to help build theirs. Leave the rat race. leave the worker bee, avoid everything the masses do... Achieve your freedom, before its too late.Se Vi Pacem Para Bellum

You could start your own business, which if it is one of the 20% that doesn't fail, will pay you about as much as the wagecuck grind while putting you at potentially unlimited hours of work and tremendous personal financial liability.
Or you could go full NEET and LDAR on the government dime, which if we're being real here, is the ideal solution.
