The issue is that the mods are SO inconsistent with the bans. One day you can make a post in a "troll thread" and nothing will happen besides the mod deleting the thread. The next time you make a post a "troll thread" you get banned for, and I quote "posting in a troll thread". How the fuk is it even against the rules to post in a thread in the first place? It isn't our responsibility to filter threads and determine which is a "troll" thread or not. That's for you mods to keep up with and prevent from being there for us to post inside of in the first place. If I am being honest, the mods suck at being servants because I see threads that break the rules up EVERY single day, and at night time people post nudes on the regular and you dumb asses are all asleep so they sit on the front page for hours.... How about, instead of hiring a bunch of ****ing fat 45 year old potatoes who sleep through the night, getting some youth from a different time zone or some chit. Also, stop letting the potato mods use their "discretion" when banning people. Tell them "____ is against the rules, ban EVERY time you see it. If you ban anyone for not breaking a rule, you lose your position" WOW, so hard. Crazy how after all these years simple chit like strict, consistent moderating, 24 hours a day is such a hard task for a forum with an insane traffic flow on a daily basis.

tl;dr: issue isn't the justified bans, it's the bans for stupid chit like commenting in a thread the mods were too slow to delete, and inconsistently at that - one day it's a ban, the next you walk away free.

ive emailed forum sentinel a few times about a questionable ban. I think it was twice. the only one that comes to mind is when someone opened a thread with a vid abotu a little kid finding his mom's HUGE double ended dildo and waving it abotu while the dad laughs hysterically. I caught a 1 week ban for quoting it and thought it was horse chit. but i went and looked at the rules and it was there, thought it seemed like one of those that has been added over the years

Reading through this thread I keep checking people's status' and surprisingly no bans yet.

My story: some guy was planning on gaining 30lbs of fat just so he could lose it to show how easy losing weight is. I told him he's an idiot. I got banned for trolling. At first I was like wtf, but then realized The post was In another sub forum. I guess you can't get away with as much outside of the misc.

Didn't email the mod cause I'm not a crybaby.

I got banned once and the reason was "cartoon penis", at the time I didnt realize an MS Paint penis was ban-worthy. My other ban was for something Id posted about a year previously (thread must have been bumped), the link was clean at the time I posted it but then I guess by the time the mod clicked the link a year later their site had become a bit sexy.
Anyway I explained this and because RedRaider86 is good people she unbanned me and repped me for the bother.

So I was browsing and negging last night and saw this kid carrying on about a ban and whatever. I can't find the thread but what it seemed like was he was banned for breaking a clearly stated rule which is all good but he went back and forth with the person that banned him via email crying about the ban.
