The start of the home gym, got 4 Ivanko 45s on Craigslist for 120$ was 100$,but I told him 120$ if he removes the ad on Craigslist. Supposedly dude has 700+ in weights, all Ivanko plates too. A few Rogue 20kg bars he should get on Wednesday along with the weights. A bit sketchy.

So I always used to do all my heaviest pulls touch and go. I pulled 565x2 tng on a gym bar before 605 on a dl bar and 573x2 tng ona gym bar before 615 on a deadlift bar.
I just hit 565x2 deadstop 2 weeks ago, I'm thinking I definitely have to be stronger than 615 then by now?"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! 3 squat sessions before a meet and someone just gave me their 3m strangulators. The original ones that everyone jerks off over too. Going to play around with them fuk it.

Finding an adjustable bench for the home gym. Either
1) BS pricing
2) Cheaply made
3) reasonable and 20" high

They don't have a lot of options for Craislist here in Phoenix. I'll try once more Thursday before ordering one.
The Xmark ones are the best I can find. At $300 average, rated for 1000 or more. But 19-20" high. All I can do is put plates down it seems.
And ya. I lol'ed at the legacy $1000 price one

Never used it, but I've heard really good things about this bench.

I'm surprised rogue hasnt built a combo rack yet.
Their gear is good to go though.

I started the home gym research and came across situations like this too often. I also started paying only $9 a month at my gym which is a decent gym by commercial chain gym standards (Xsport, it's over crowded and has hex plates but can use chalk, make noise and people actually lift there) so I just dropped the home gym idea. My break even point was like the year 2325 so it was purely a convenience thing and I'll just make the 5 minute drive until I'm richer

Saw that one as well. Probably is really good. But not sure I wouldn't rather save the $200 and put plates on the floor instead.
I got lucky that one day I after I got injured at my out gym I went online and found a Marcy half rack and 700+ pounds of plate for $400. I swooped fast and got it.
Even with upgrading barbell and cage and rubber flooring I've spent about $2000 so far.

With the support given to powelifting and their new steel calibrated plates I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a Rogue combo rack.
Not everyone's motivations are financial. I'll never break even but it's worth it to be able to spend time with my kids and lift whenever, not having to choose between the two. Plus just to train for Pl is not a huge investment. A good rack, bar, plates, and some plywood for a platform was all I started with. I still don't train with much more than that and my total investment is maybe a couple years at a commercial gym. Meh.. that may be about to change though because I'd really like to add a GHR.Meet PR's
