Just because people were clapping didn't mean they were happy that Reigns won...probably just clapping at the show in its entirety.

Just because you all want to believe that 100K plus was booing doesn't mean they were all 100% actually booing Reigns and simply clapping because of the show overall (see how easy that's done)...there is NO WAY they were clapping for this sh!t stain of a show in its entirety.

lacklustre PPV, it's like I spent the whole time waiting for that swerve and it never happened.
Ladder match- Good, fun match.. way more spots than last year. Feel good winner, let Zac ryder have his moment. It started promising
AJ-Y2J- A solid match like they always do but not WM worthy, not a classic by any means.
LoN vs New day an uneventful match. Stone cold, HBK, Foley out to bury the talent for a cheap pop
hell in the cell- insignificant match really, it truly was just a match thrown together to kill time. The match was pretty terrible, it'll be remembered for the jump, but besides from that it was pretty irrelevant. I don't know if they'll even try and run with it or just kill the angle.
Lesnar ambrose - Hugely underwhelming, completely one-sided, literally no offence on deans part. Apparently this was because Brock demanded he didn't lose to ambrose or even get hurt too much, or maybe Ambrose is being punished for being drunk last night. Either way a chit match, served no purpose.
ARMBAR- literally what was point? the speical returns were boring especially when names like rvd, angle, cesaro, goldberg were flying around. It's going to do nothing to corbins career.
The rock and cena bury the Wyatts once again for absolutely no purpose at all but kill time. Cena's return literally had no meaning at all, what a waste.
Trips vs Reigns- they tried their best but again it fell way short for a wrestlemania WM, the match was meant to be no dq, but i'm not sure what happened. They decided to stick to their guns and end WM in the worst way possible, I have to respect that, let's see what Reigns does with the strap now.
Final Thoughts:
The injury's truly did catch up to them, we were fools for thinking they still might be able to pull it off. The whole flow and timing of the show seemed off. The end seemed slightly rushed. But yh poverty WM that might go down as the worst ever. Also lol at them so blatantly messing with the mics. So much hype and speculation leading into this wm and they literally did everything in the most typical fashion.

Shout out to all the delusional people that said Angle would return and Goldberg would help Shane. The comedown from whatever you guys were smoking must be rough as fukkkkk.

Vince has turned WrestleMania into what he always wanted. A spectacle. They've got built in gimmicks with the return of former wrestlers to get cheap pops. They've got an annual ladder match for carnage and crazy spots. They've got the battle royal that they're now plugging in old dudes in like the Royal Rumble. And they've got an annual 40 min Rock spot that's more flash than substance. People tune in to see the flash and the crazy stuff. Not for the matches. This is good for Vince, because he can have ****ty matches and still get people paying attention. It's like the Super Bowl, which is often a crappy game but people tune in to it for the spectacle.
Good for Vince. Bad for us.
This wasn't the worst WM ever, but not the best either. It was just about average.

NXT won Wrestlemania. That's all.
NXT was the only thing keeping me in the game and holy **** that was a great one for me to end on.
Mania - meh. There were a few really good matches: IC Ladder Match was insane and it was obvious those guys were going all out. Women's match was great minus the finish and a few botches but the botches weren't that bad, and they're all good wrestlers.
Everything else was lackluster as ****. Shane and Taker had some good spots but go figure this is a Taker match we're talking about here, so it's going to be pretty limited. The cage dive? I want to love it, but when it's expected, it just takes something away. I mean Shane McMahon the person had my respect long before tonight. Getting as old as he is and still being able to do the coast to coast and stuff like that is impressive. Shane the person is impressive. But if we're talking about the match - just meh. I mean it reminded me of Taker / Trips "end of an era" minus the tension of a 3rd man being the ref.
New Day entrance and costumes were great. Match was just like everything else they've had. Jericho and Styles had nothing new, and since it was like the 5th time or something, I was tabbing out to do other **** just waiting for the finishing sequence.
And Trips vs Reigns - I barely even watched. Is it possible to overdo an entrance at Mania? I thought Rusev's tank was a lot - apparently I was wrong. Trips' conditioning was the most impressive part of the match. That and Steph taking a spear. Besides that, the crowd's reaction, WHICH IS ONLY GOING TO INTENSIFY ON RAW AFTER MANIA.
I pay for the Network, but I don't have cable so I have to get Raw through "other means" which is a travesty considering I drop dosh on the WWE 12 times a year. That said, I'll be watching Raw tonight but cancelling the network. It was a good ride, but this is a good place to get off. I'd love to stick around for NXT and assuming I resub like a year or two from now, I can always go back and watch all those sweet Nakamura matches. Why Insurance Does Not Make You Safe:

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but after Corbin won the Battle Royale, did they really need to repeat the spot that Big Show did last year of posing with arm's crossed in front of the statue. It was cool when Big Show did it, honouring his dad, but I wonder if this is going to become the cliche thing to do..not unlike pointing at the WrestleMania sign.

Got back from the show super late, being there live was amazing and the nostalgic pops were fun.
But in terms of the regular roster? WTF was going on with booking, almost every heel (minus Reigns) won tonight. Was really pissed they used a finish you'd see on RAW or Smackdown to end that great women's match. Don't even get me started on them dropping the ball of having Sasha winning.
I'm excited for tonight, because this crowd will sh!t all over this product if they don't have big things lined up.★★★AJ Lee Crew★★★ - Officer of Punk Destruction

Will both of you cock gurgling fa@gots shut the hell up; you both are probably hoping for the North Carolina bill to be shot down
...I am talking about the damn video when the camera panned the crowd.
When you are clapping for just the show you are looking randomly around at other people and clapping about chest high...these people were looking at this man and holding their arms in his direction and clapping toward HIM.
I am not a Reigns fan nor did I even remotely like the whole shield bullshyt to boot. The only one that I am even remotely, slightly, interested in is in recovery.
However, I am not some delusional a@@hat that thinks just because I close my eyes and wish really hard that something will be made true.
Just because most of the people were BOOING does not mean that all 100K were booing. Regardless of the crowd noise being pumped into the TV it does not disqualify the actual visible video proof of the people that were clapping and cheering along with the 30K+ 18 year old females that were cheering and clapping...
Do either of you understand what I am saying now?All humans are just a bunch of sporadic clone attempts gone wrong.

I would have to give this show at most a 6 out of 10, and I feel that's being fair. The production, the arena, the audience, and most of the talent were great! Unfortunately the length of the show, the lack of a proper build-up or heat in these matches, and the winners of these matches really just killed it for me. I thought this was the worst booked Wrestlemania in WWE history.
The show was far too long. Imagine watching a 6 hour movie, a 6 hour TV sitcom, or a 6 hour football game. The pre-show was completely forgettable, with matches that you could see any week on Raw.
The Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match was very good, but, like all of the matches on the card, it had no heat, and the wrong guy won. Stardust came out with attire that was a tribute to Dusty. Which would be cool if he wasn't a heel (would a heel do that?). Dusty hated that gimmick, and not long before he died asked people not to remember for him for the polka dot WWE run that was a blip in his long, successful career. Zayn's work during this match was great, it should've been Zayn challenging Owens.
WWE actually put 'Wooo" up on the big screen, hanging over the middle of the stadium, prompting fans to cheer for Charlotte when she did a Flair chop. She's a heel? Why don't they understand this? Is it not obvious why nobody cares about these matches? It's just entertainers putting on a performance and having fun, rather than a serious athletic competition where you want to see the talent fight. Fuck. Then Charlotte wins the match after Ric interferes (the same ending we saw on Raw)...just LOL.
LON, who nobody could possibly care about, beat the tag team champs just so we can get a pointless segment with Austin, Foley, and HBK, who proceed to make New Day look like second class talent. Guess who has to show up to Raw and look strong the next night and every day after that...not Austin, Foley, or HBK. This match was changed numerous times, with the stipulation of a 6 man tag being announced during the pre-show.
Shane comes out and literally tells you what is wrong with WWE, then Vince won't even let him fix it in storyline. This feud was pointless other than to give Undertaker a last minute opponent to beat (unless they do something on Raw).
The ATGMBR was completely lame. I was very happy that Baron Corbin won, but the announcers had no enthusiasm, and did very little to put him or his win over. Why have him lose to Austin Aries and then give him a spot in this? The match was filled with old timers and jobbers.
The Rock stuff was stupid. I was a big fan of his last Raw appearance, but this was flat. It was a pandering, boring promo, that turned into him burying the Wyatt's, and then him and Cena burying the Wyatt's (how many times will Cena bury the Wyatt's at 'Mania?).
Ambrose versus Lesnar did not meet expectations. The match was cut short so they could do the stupid Rock bullshit. They booked Ambrose terribly. Brock could've afforded a loss in a no DQ match. They could've made a star. Instead they proved that they are determined to hold him down.
Triple H vs. Roman Reigns going on last, and being the actual main event for the title, is tone deaf beyond belief. I didn't think the match was very good, and frankly, I heard thousands of fans left before this match ended.
Remember, on Austin's podcast Vince told you this: "It's not about what I want. Ever. It's all about what the audience wants. I'm a pretty good listener."Last edited by HoganIsGOAT; 04-04-2016 at 08:10 AM.

Is it really the hardcore audience that makes a difference, or the casuals? I'd think hardcores for the network and casuals for TV ratings. I've stopped watching Raw regularly some time ago, and just catch up through WWE's youtube channel and reading results.
Seriously thinking about canceling my subscription. The problem is I signed up for it before it was available in Canada through a VPN, and now whenever I try to go to the network website, it forwards me to the Canadian version asking me to sign in with my cable provider, which I am not subscribed through.
I watch through the phone app and PS4 app no problem. I might just have to give wwe customer service a ring to cancel it. My only concern now is that if I want to resub I will be stuck with the sh*t Canadian version.

The battle royal was a big complaint of mine out of all the matches. it's a time filler/piss break. it was literally thrown together last minute and i bet having shaq was also something that they may have done within the last couple days. Your winner was buried within the jobber pile and half the people here didnt even realize he was in it. same with Tatanka. couldnt even get proper entrances for some of these guys. also, way to show shaq and big show just stand off then when they get thrown out, you see him patting him on the back and smiling. like "it's all a big joke anyways, hahaha".
andre the giant is a GOAT. this is his memorial ? jobber/gimmick battle royals ? just end this thing and put it on an episode of smackdown or something. between that and rocks segment, we couldve finished this WM at 11pm eastern.Buccaneers/Lightning/Rays/The U

The women's title match was probably the best match of the night or close..
Shane coming off the top was a great spot but pointless
The ladder match was the best match of the night but ladder matches are nearly always the best match of the night, nothing new here.
Everything else was as figured it would be. If you noticed the past few years nothing really huge happens at mania in terms of titles or swerves. We have an occasional title change for the heavy weight strap but it's rare and usually when it happens it's a "oh okay" moment. Last year's main event was probably the best in years!
They have somehow switched Mania into a money grab while putting the most unique and unpredictable matches in the other PPVs.All humans are just a bunch of sporadic clone attempts gone wrong.

You are right and somewhat, possibly wrong...I agree on your point it is the hardcores for the network and casuals for the TV; however, in this day of social media and people only having a 10 second attention span and an even worse memory span, they can get away with pretty much anything.
I'll be willing to bet only about 20% of viewers actually even remember most debacles in PPV moments. The attention span of this new era is killing everything good in terms of tv production. All humans are just a bunch of sporadic clone attempts gone wrong.
