Just always remember bro that it is a dignified calling. Honorable.
Never pat attention to your badge. Always keep your heart with the institution your badge will be representing.
Guard your virtues. Your moral comous. Stay human.
Never let the bad and evil out there cause you to lose yourself and what you stand for.

Military LE brah here. Not sure if it counts, but I respect the hell out of you all. If the Air Force doesn't become a 30 year gig, I'm going to try to become an FBI agent.
Stay safe out there, brahs.|USAF K9 Crew|

Just attended the funeral of Trooper Chad Dermyer. He was a great friend of ours. He was with State while my husband is Federal. He moved to Virginia, but thankfully we had just visited not too long ago. There's always jokes about "staties" Lol but he was the real deal. They were very close, and we often hung out with his wife and 2 kids outside work. Just reiterating once again, how much you all put on the line every single day, and how blessed we are for that. Stay safe friends. & Thank you for your service. Xx

I actually sleep more when working overnights but I don't gym as much too if that's the case. But sometimes I'll sleep 5 hrs and knock out gym before work. Like my Sgt always tells me, "I sleep more at work then I do at home".
What's the grooming policy for y'all at your department about facial hair? Ours we can only have a stache and everything else is shaved. Shaving face everyday before work, checking in.*San Diego Crew

hello gents,
Havent been here since I moved in February. Been busy with the new PD. Currently in FTO training, sucks doing it all over again.
I like the new PD, definitely a big change of pace, a lot more boring thats for sure. Mostly false alarms and accidents. But the pay is good, got a 5k bonus and reimbursed for moving.
hope everyone is doing good

I'm 7.5 in and about all ready fed up with it. The way of the world right now just sucks being a cop. Especially since i'm in the ghetto.
I arrest kids who try to break into houses and people look at me like I'm the criminal. Pretty much just going to put in my 8 and try to just stay safe and not get in trouble. Most of our division is like this. A few still have motivation.6'3" crew checking in

I know I'm not a part of the "Law Enforcement Club", but I'm dropping by to say, thanks brahs. What you guys/girls do is awesome and it would be chaos without y'all.
Keep doing what you do, and remember, it's for the people, not against the people (as much as the media would like to portray it).
Respect for life.

What happens at 8 years?
Might wanna transfer to something not road/patrol based. I don't particularly mind being hated + I can't make the money I do in any other field doing anything as enjoyable/consistent. Oilfield is so up and down its not worth the gamble IMO. For the most part my plan is at 10 years hit a desk (CID) and call it quits on the streets.
