IDK, I went to a smart/rich kid private school so most the people are/will be doctors, lawyers, investment bankers, and all that while I'm a bit of a fuk up compared to them. But it'll be fun to see everyone and surprise them since I was like 100 lbs lighter and semi-DYEL at our 5 year reunion. Skipped my 10 year, 15 year, 20 year, and 25 year. I was fairly popular in high school, was on all the teams, but felt no need to reminisce about old times or go through the same old boring series of questions from people you havent seen in decades.

How have you been?
What do you do now?
Where are you living?
Are you married?
Proceed to talk about their kids for the next half hour until you can find an out to pry yourself away from the convo, then repeat with the next person you see.

The people I was close to I still keep in contact with, but didnt see much reason to go to the reunions.

HS reunions lost some functionality once ******** got popularized -- easier to contact/snark at people from the past.
