On Netflix. Has Nicholas Cage crying so a lot of you will stop reading here.
Spooky ghost story, I hate these and almost turned it off about 10 times but glad I stuck it out. Mixes a missing kid, technology, some downright spooky scenes and the requisite flashes of a demons face or whatever complete with creepy music. The story and acting were quite good. Couple little holes I could overlook, had elements of The Ring and The Village. Good watch for free if you have Netflix and need your heart restarted a couple times.

Will check that out tomorrow.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Sicario, a bit bloody at times with some decent action. The storyline is a bit convoluted and has you wondering just where the hell they are going with it all. Overall it pays off and is a decent watch.

Vacation, meh it was merely ok. Had a couple of chuckles but overall not worth the view.
Heist with Deniro and Bautista was pretty good, its not hard to figure out where the movie is headed and for myself had zero surprises but overall was decent enough and worth the waste of time to see it."You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Did you get to where the kid was abducted? The movie kind of starts at that point.
I watched The Shining over the last 2 days. As a Stephen King reader I've not cared for any of the movies, but Kubrick did so well with those hotel scenes and the feeling of isolation...Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Saw the Revenant last night; solid movie. It's the story of Hugh Glass if anyone knows who that is. Grew up in Wyoming and Colorado, so I had heard the story before and the movie follows it fairly accurately but with some Hollywood glam.
The only downside it certain parts were drug out and makes the movie feel long.Transformation Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=170068283&page=1

13 Hours. First hand account of the terrorist attack on the USA's Benghazi consulate that killed ambassador Chris Stevens, security contractors and former Navy Seals Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, and Foreign Service officer Sean Smith.

Self/lLess, it's a body switching movie with a twist starring Ryan Renyolds and Ben Kingsley. Takes a little while to get going and you wonder where it's going but it's a very good watch and gets 2 thumbs up from me.

The Last Survivors (Netflix)
In some future dystopia it doesn't rain, so Oregon is a desert with water only available to those with wells. The movie follows a young couple that's basically holed up in their attic all night and by day they try to find a distributor cap for a plane that will get them out of the desert.
Terribly long for the story, scenery is just desert and abandoned farms, took me a week of watching 10-15 minutes at a time to get through the damn thing. The lead actress is good and the ending is somewhat decent but I think I would choose something else if I could have a do-over.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Curve (Netflix)
Kind of a twist on Stephen King's "Misery" but this time it's a woman in the car crash and a diabolical man who finds her. Pretty gripping, the usual cringe scenes where you're thinking "jut kill him now!" Decent watch and the ending is worth the wait.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Interstellar (Hulu)
I can't say enough good things about this movie, and i'm sure i'm not the first to say so. I will openly admit, i've watched this movie a few times... and every time I watch it, I catch details in the movie I didn't before.
Stars: Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway
The movie's dueling main themes of space exploration to find a new home for mankind's dying planet, and the depth of humanity.
The movie itself is exceptionally made and beautiful. The movie is long, but the details bring it all together... i promise it isn't wasted time.Donut scavenger, car chick & gym killer

Pan was pretty good, movie critics have no clue what the hell they are talking about. It was far different telling of the Peter Pan story and how he came to be. Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard the pirate was excellent. The movie is a tad slow at 1st but it gets a lot better and both my wife and I give it a thumbs up.
Knock Knock flat out sucked, 95 or so minutes which was at least an hr too long. Keanu Reeves gets fukked with and fukked over by 2 crazy bitches, at times it's very slow moving and I was ready to pull the plug but for some sick twisted reason I wanted to see how it ended, and even then was disappointed."You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Just saw The Revenant yesterday. It was a good movie although I don't know if I'll ever watch it again. Maybe I'll get it free from the library and watch it one more time.

The Martian, all around great movie! Good plot and excellent acting, a few blunders with reality but hey it's a movie and I can overlook stuff. A feel good movie with a great ending.
