lol, yesterday I tried to loot during the day...went negative 700k elixir. Trying to get to 6mil for giants, and my potato attacks would maybe net 100k per, meanwhile every time I turn my back I'm getting pounded for over 300k. Haven't found a ton of max storage 8s to loot, and 9s are still difficult to hit.

sometimes you gotta back it down and just raid the collectors on the edge with a volume strategy. I was having no luck a few weeks ago and went to all out attacks and had good luck. I backed down the trophies this week and I am finding a lot of good raids using mainly goblins

Why did you ditch TH10?

Couldn't transfer it off busted iPad. I've been given a recovery code for accts before but SC wouldn't provide me one this time. I gave them copies of transaction receipts, all info they requested... Still no.

This happened to one of the guys in our clan...although not as bad as yours he was only a max TH8 not a TH10. Load of chit tbh but nothing much you can do if they don't play ball.

I'd never have an account not associated with a game center or google+ account. Electronic devices are too fragile to be relying on just the one device functioning to keep your progress.

Crystal and Masters are two entirely different things.

And then Champs another.

Trophy "pushing" to Crystal should be very easy even for a TH8. You could probably snipe your way there in one evening/night, from silver.

When I went to Champs for the gems and achievement not long ago (early TH10 but with TH9 raid troops) I noticed a serious divide in base difficulty and ease of acquiring trophies around Masters II. Under that...pretty easy.

We usually have at least one TH8 who is living in Crystal even.

Mistyped that.. meant to say masters. When I pushed to ~2900 as a th8, I used loons and minions til I ran out of elixir around 2400, and hogged my way to 2880 or something after that. It's not difficult to 1-2* max th9s when your whole goal is only to get 50%, drop a few hogs on defenses that cover the most buildings, use minions and archers to snipe what buildings they can get to untouched, etc.

how do you get an account with a game center id?

Well wait - I started on my phone, so my account is linked to Google. Then I linked it to my iPad. I never really thought about it, but I have uninstalled CoC from the iPad a number of times because I was having sound issues (user error of course), and each time I reloaded it, it was still linked to my Google account. Can you have multiple CoC accounts on the same device?

PS - had a great night of raiding - Minions going to 3, another barracks going to 10, and 8 more skulls.

I play COC on my Kindle. I'm definitely worried about something going wrong and losing everything. Not sure I have a way to back it up though.

Log into Google plus in the game settings menu. It'll use your gmail/YouTube account to store the game via g+. If you go on another device all you have to do is log into google.

Just upgraded balloons to level 6. We're starting a clan war tomorrow, but I think I'll skip using balloons until I'm able to practice with them more.

You probably want level 2 lava hounds before using balloons much in war for anything beyond back end clean up, sniping exposed/uncovered defenses, corner teslas, etc.

TH10 crew checking in.

I've been struggling with choosing the right troops for wars lately... I always hit with gowipe and get 4-6 stars each war. Lately I've been losing attacks or getting 1-2 stars. I'm trying to come up with a new strategy like two different armies (lavaloons + gowipe) or (healers/queen + gowiwi) or (gowipe + hogs). Nothing seems to work. Any advice? srs.

If you can create a Gmail account then it should work. When you create the account on the Kindle and go into COC there is a tab in settings to connect to Google plus. COC will ask you which google account you wish to use (if you just have the one gmail it'll be the only one listed) and you just click it. Once it connects then Google plus will store all of the game data. Maybe I'm wrong. All android phones work this way and Kindle is Android.

I like hogs, so I'm bias here, but if you are experienced/good with hogs I'd upgrade hogs, heal, and golem (possibly witch) as your first run at a TH9 three star army.

My current army is:
18 giants
15 barbs
40 arch
40 arch
5 wb

4 max loons in cc

King lvl 2
3 lvl4 heal spells.

So hitting 115k in elixir nets me 20k.

Yeah screw that, id rather barbarian/archer and look for loot in collectors and only use my spells for 300k+ raids.

It takes time to find good bases though.

But i only hit bases that will net me 300k+ after army unless they have stupid de, BTW that was all this morning

Hit easier bases. Don't hit 115k in storages and drop three heal spells

As a TH7 I wouldn't probably go higher than Gold III as an active player/raider
