Tempted to give up on my cut. Its so damn hard, I feel weak everyday and tired. I have the protein part down which consists of egg whites, chicken breast, tilapia daily. My CARB source is the problem. I rotate from yams to white rice between those 2 and im getting sick of them. I dont eat vegetables but I plan on mixing in asparagus with my lunch meals from now on.
I have no ideas on what to eat for carbs. All i have in mind are bananas, yams, or white rice. Any help in the carb sources that taste good?

Sounds like you need to learn to cook/season your food. Use fat, herbs, spices and browning cooking methods to add flavor to your starches and veggies.
But to answer your question, at my weight, 1-2 servings (250 cals) of beans or whole grains, 4-5 (150 cals) different veggies, 1-2 (150 cals) servings of fruit, 1-2 servings (250 cals) of dairy and a small bits of sugar for yogurt, sauces and treats.

I definitely would NOT go low carb on a cut. Like someone suggested before, just do some HIIT training which will allow you to eat MORE while still eating at a deficit.
my name is Lo and I believe that simplicity is key not only just in life but in fitness as well.
IIFYM + Intermittent Fasting = eat what you want & get the gains you want.
Working out 5 days a week and eating 6 meals a day is NOT the only way to get strong.

I don't see any issue with going low carb on a cut. Everyone responds differently. My body responds great to fat as higher macros and carbs lower. I tend to eat my higher carb meals prior to a workout. Potatoes, grits, tortillas ( fish tacos ftw ), fruit, oatmeal, eat what you like as long as you meet your protein and fat macros.
