I didn't realize the term Palumboism was catching on. I'm scanning back through the full video to find the minute mark where Brian Rose brought it up.

Is this term referencing Dave Palumbo?MFC

Yeah him and Jay Cutler are the most interesting bodybuilders in the world.
Yes.
He would do several exercises per body part; he would do multiple sets as well but didn't count the lighter sets as actual work sets, where other guys will. So for example a guy like Kevin Levrone on bench would do 225x8, 315x6, 405x4, 500x3+1 assisted and say he did four sets for bench, where Dorian would only consider that one all out set.

People think that since Dorian said all he did was one all-out set, that he'd just step into the gym, load 405 on the Incline and press it 6 or 8 times. Then go over to the Flat Hammer Press, load it up with 45lb plates and press it. Move on over to dumbbell flyes, pick up some 80-pounders and fly 'em up.
No. He'd do warm-up sets before each of his one, all-out sets per exercise. He just wouldn't count them as actual sets, because he wasn't even going 90% while doing them.

Melanin
I watched the full interview on London Reel (second part wasn't available on Youtube, or at least that I could find).
Anyone have a reaction to Dorian's explanation/theory as to how his new diet (described as nutrients from juices with live enzymes) changed his pigmentation so that he is for the first time able to suntan easily? It starts around 1 hour 53 minutes in if interested. Everything Dorian says always make so much down-to-earth logical sense to me, but this one sounds so far out. As a super pale guy myself, I'd be thrilled if it's legit, and not some coincidence or other factor. It's just hard to accept--I haven't seen any publications supporting this.
If you get a chance to check it out, let me know. (I signed in as a "Social Visitor," not a "Member," and was able to watch for free. Still checking out whether membership is worth it.
Great interview all around by the way!!Fall in love with the struggle.
