That's the problem though, he's stubborn and not pragmatic enough. Continues playing his awful signings like Lovren when they should obviously be dropped. Last year when we struggled for so long, and only after we were pretty much out of the race for top four did he switch it up with 3atb and results started getting better. I don;t think there's anything wrong with him being more defensive minded, he had to be. But making changes way past their expiration date and then it finally starting to work is infuriating from a fans perspective - like why the fuk did you not change it weeks ago - we could all see the problems.

This. He alienates so many players too because he's too stubborn to admit that they're better than the players he brought in. Players like Agger, Lucas, Sakho who should have or should be in the team consistently and weren't or aren't. Not mention he consistently buys squad players instead of using some of the great talent in our youth teams, players like Teixera, Sinclair, Rossiter who barely get a look in when they need to be getting first team experience and this was supposed to be one of the reasons he was brought in.
