I wouldn't personally recommed keto, yeah sure you will appear very lean when u get into it as you lose so much water (also look flat though) but when you reintroduce carbs you gain all that water weight back anyways really fast and look really bloated for quite a while.
tl;dr basic caloric deficit with carbs in is GOATu mirin'?

I can respect that, everyone has different goals and reasons to lift. As a 31 year old with these concerning injuries, I've taken a lot of steps back when it comes to lifting heavy. There is inevitably a point in all our lives when we need to step back a little and re-evaluate balance in life. My primary focus is on lifting for enjoyment, to de-stress and as a form of meditation. Time off from lifting really helps put things into perspective.

FTFY.
But yeah, lack of JR was really starting to weigh in.
>.> Don't get banned again, JR. How was banned camp, though? Spend your time doing anything fun?
We love you even if you do go to the gym. It's okay, this thread is about lifting acceptance and awareness now. The first step to a healthy life is admitting you have a problem, and we're all here to help you get through this. We know that you secretly go to the gym and lift weights, and we've seen you sneaking protein powder at night.
We just want to help you because we love you, brah.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that everyone should step back at my age. I'm just saying that it's important to evaluate what's important and for people to get out of that 'get bigger' phase - I was kinda stuck in it for a while - and I realize now that it was an addiction. When I was 21, I'd look at the huge freak in my gym and be jealous - a decade later I don't really care, I see a walking ball of insecurity. It's incorrect for me to judge that person as insecure, but my experiences with many bodybuilders shaped that.

Sweet! Didn't know if there was a gapping form issue.
I've find a nice spot for my bench and deads. The deads it works will (for me) high in back and sloping down in front. So in the back it covers the spinal erecters and then slops to lower belly button.
Can't get my squat placement figured out doe........it's always digging into something.

did some bb benching (pyramid) the other day
135 lbs for 15 reps (warmup)
180 lbs for 10 reps
200 lbs for 8 reps
210 lbs for 3 reps
200 lbs for 8 reps
180 lbs for 8 reps
could've done more probably (especially for the 210 lbs) but didn't have/want a spotter so I played it safe.
pretty happy with myself, sitting at 185 lbs (5'11) and I've only been barbell benching for a couple of weeks. Only ever did db bench press before (my best for reps is the 100's).
