I work at a little family owned diner type place

-I've seen my bosses drop hamburgers/hot dogs/buns on the ground and just pick it up, blow it off and act like it never happened.
-Milkshake machine had a layer of dead mosquitoes on the top of it last night. That means that someone either cleans them out (unlikely) or they end up sinking down into the milkshake mix and probably disintegrate into the mix.
-Can't think of much else off the top of my head..



When I worked at Little Caesars;

-Pizzas would sit in the heater till they "expired" but if the owner was there he/she would still be willing to sell it
-I would have to reuse the old dough (even if it had sat out for a few hours/was past the expiration date it should have)
-A lot of chit never was cleaned out properly (people didn't want to)

When I was a teenager I worked at Best Buy and I learned probably the most legit secret that I still use to this day.

You know how all those stores offer the extended protection plans thatonly like 10% of people ever claim so they make money off the 90% that totally forget they had them or lost their receipt?

Buy those. I buy the top end of ALL electronics that I know will be around for years, the plans are usually 2 years. I keep all my receipts and file them by expiration, so usually around 1 year 6 months, or earlier if the product is wearing out, I go in and tell them it's broken. They will then give you a gift card for the full amount you paid, (Or refurbished if above $300 or some chit, if its in the refurbished category dont buy it, refurbs suk I've seen the places they "fix" products at)

Then I go buy a brand new one. I know people that go a step further and don't even buy the plan, they just go into the store buy the new one, clean up their old one and put it back in the box and return it. I worked returns and saw this one the most common, and we aren't allowed to accuse you of doing it or lying about the return, but there are highlights and flags you can put on their drivers license so that they probably won't be able to get away with it again.

Thats why I just buy the protection plan, brb getting a new $250 headset for the $15 protection plan I purchased.

Not sure if this works anymore. At Walmart, majority of the electronic devices have a serial number on the device that has to match the receipt for return. If they do not match then you wont be able to return it as it is not the same product.

Movie theaters never actually sell out of tickets. Box office workers are trained to claim that a movie is totally sold out when there are 40-60 seats remaining, to avoid overcrowding. But they can still sell you tickets if they want to. Usually if someone was nice to me and they're upset a movie is sold out, I'd just hook them up with tickets anyways. And I'd give 20 year olds senior discounts because the ushers don't notice/care. Basically be nice to people and they'll hook you up. And if they say something is sold out, tell them you know there are actually seats, ask nicely to get tickets, and they'll prob sell them to you

Event Staff at stadiums: Bitch enough and you will get moved to better seats. They keep a few primo seats open "just in case". Also the staff is there for the appearance of protection, in reality they are all weekend warriors and are not allowed to touch guests unless it's an extreme circumstance like someone running on the field/court. However, police officers are allowed to knock your ass out.
Pumbing Supply (Ferguson Enterprises): Everything is negotiable, showrooms are a huge markup.
Car Dealerships: Ask for invoice pricing, if they won't supply it, then walk out and go across town.
Hotels: When booking online always mark the "military discount" box. They rarely ask for confirmation when you check in, and if they do say you forgot your card.

Definitely not true, At my 2 year cinema stunt all i can remember is telling people to shuffle along or make room so people could come in, we would always sell to the exact last seat every session

Never get renos done by a big name contractor, they will kill you on price. For the company i worked for we had to mark up all projects 60%.
So either do your renos yourself or hire someone local.

Going to a family owned restaurant or any small business you will actually get better quality food and service. I don't trust the owners of the restaurant to cook the food. They might cut corners and do gross stuff because it directly impacts their profits.

No matter what job I've had, I've always been honest and hard working. I wouldn't go in the back and twiddle my thumbs and b!tch to another coworker about an @$$hole guest, I'd just look the item up for em. If there weren't any on the shelf, I'd actually look. When I worked fast food, I would make all the items to the best of my ability as quickly as possible - I would NEVER fuk with someone's food, no matter how poorly they interacted with me. Things outside my control, I obviously can't help.

Bartenders ripping people off just to give a free drink to a "hbb", retail workers being lazy and standing around doing nothing and complaining instead of doing their fukkin job, smh. Doing things like this truly shows a persons character. I guess integrity and hard work is rare nowadays. Seems like a ton of people are selfish entitled little kunts.

This. I work in retail, and the amount of laziness from some of my colleagues is sad. Good thing that are there colleagues that will do the job properly, sometimes above and beyond.
I do moan to my co workers about customers, but will try to serve them to the best of my abilities, no matter how rude they are. I'll make sure I am truthful in anything they require of me. Lying, deception etc may come back to bite you on the ass, as it has nearly on some of my dishonest co workers.

Truth about the bartending....Don't piss off the bartender otherwise we would:

Pack the chit out of the ice. One shot of liquor and splash of soda. it tastes strong but it really about 2oz.

if you ordered a high end liquor mixed with a soda ( and you were a douche) we would mix well liquor and either float the good liquor on top or pour a bit down the straw. The first sip is really strong and burns your taste buds. They think you hooked them up. every couple of these and you saved enout liquor cost to slide a freebie to a HBB.

A Skooner (fishbowl) of beer is 16oz. 1in of foam is 4oz. Every 4 skooners you save enough for a free skooner to give to a HBB.

Don't piss off the bartender.

After reading a bunch of these I've come to learn that bartenders are self absorbed douche bags. I mean come on, they make drinks for a living...why do they have such power trips?

Never eat meatloaf, my brother worked in a place where they made meatloaf. They had a bad ass meat grinder that could grind anything. They would mix all kinds of things in the grinder with the meat. If the meat came in with string they would chuck it in with the string. One day they put a leather shoe in the mix and another day some guy chit in it.

A friend of mine works in the hospital (Radiology) specific.
Anything embarrassing or interesting that gets screened or found out otherwise from doctors is quickly told to the other staff on duty, and if it's really exciting you'll be sure all the staff know about whatever it is you have wrong with you!
She often shows me photos of the x-rays of unusual objects inserted into angus's/Vagoo's.
Worst one was a 74 yr old male with a lynx can up his angus pretty hilarious tho.

The docs will speak to you first to get an idea of what you are like before they make the bet, if you are a fa miscer neckbeard the odds will be good at you getting hard.

She is either in on it, or being made to do it so the doctors can watch you squirm. If this is happening then you can be sure she will tell you that she needs to get a second opinion and she will call them in to check the ultrasound, when in fact they are checking to see if you are hard.

When i worked at Papa Johns back in college and someone would order without a coupon or asking for a special I'd ring them up and full price, print the ticket, then add a coupon and throw away the new cheaper priced ticket. Brb 10 dollar tip before I even deliver it and then they tip me on top of it. Brb make 15 bucks to deliver one order.

Also had this one house that had stiffed me like 20 times. One day I was calculating how much gas I had wasted taking them pizza for free and it made me mad.
