Everyday after work i drive 80mph on the parkway to get home. Today i was doing 80 mph in the fast lane and i saw in my rear view a pretty far out vehicle catching up. So i go up to 84 for no apparent reason. The guy is getting closer and i go to 87mph. Then he's on my ass. So for the next 10 minutes im doing 87 and peaking at 97 mph... All this time he is on my butt. After 10 min i end up going back down to 85 and going to the middle lane. he also went to the middle lane. He then goes to the slow lane and i go back into the fast lane. This is when i saw it.. It was a police vechile. Then he took the exit, and i continued on. now im home thinking wtf

Wow, I didn't realize this kind of thing was this common.
A couple years ago I was leaving work in Paramus on Route 17 and after I made a U turn, I worked my way over to the fast lane. I still to this day swear on my life I used my blinker, but I guess I did it quickly. A couple miles down, someone is riding up my fukin ass. They're flashing their headlights and just going fukin nuts. So I put my signal on and move over. The person behind me moves over too, and is still on my ass. Then the fukin guy puts his lights on, it was a cop. He pulls me over and is a fukin douche about everything. Shines the light in my eyes and asks why my eyes are glazed over when I've been working retail for the 10 previous hours. He says he saw me merge on and over a few lanes without a signal, and I was speeding. He lets me off "lucky" with a lane switch ticket that "carried no points" (which wasn't true) and that was that.
Usually not a guy to b!tch about cops because I think they have an impossible job, but that was one bad experience I had that rubbed me the wrong way.

To hell with housing prices in this state. Seems like the only way a single adult can afford to live in New Jersey is if they live with their parents for free, in a rathole of a studio apartment, with a bunch of roommates, or make at least $75,000 a year. I have no debt and no children, and even I can't afford my own place unless I want something in a dangerous neighborhood and/or an old apartment constantly in need of repairs, with pests to boot.
Not sure how our housing prices are compared to California, but after doing some reading, I found that we spend quite a bit more per student as far as our schools.Make Fihe Not Fat Again.

I know this feel. I really don't enjo living at home since I graduated, but I keep telling myself it's better to just suck it up now and not be in worse financial shape in a few years from moving out too early, especially to somewhere like Hoboken.
I hate to say it, but one of the best options for moving out is honestly to move in with a girlfriend. I just started seeing a girl and I still wouldn't even consider this until we are 26-27, but to share a one bedroom seems to be the only thing I could potentially afford now.

My dad always fills up my tank, but I went to the gas station myself today. The attendant didn't seem too nice and didn't say a word to me. I think he was mad that I asked him to come to my side of the car to tell him what kind of gas I wanted. I had already shut off my car and didn't want to turn it on again to open my side window :P Is it normal of gas station attendants to be grumpy?

Just returned from Atlantic City for one of my friends' bachelor parties. I haven't been there too often. Most of my friends go for the nightclubs and chit which isn't really my scene, I prefer to hit the casino, and that's what we did this weekend. It was a lot of fun, but I have to say, I can't help but feeling like AC is going downhill. The prices on some of these places is a little insane. I had such a fun time I was looking online to see if my girlfriend and I could come for a weekend sometime and for the cost it would be for us to have a nice weekend in AC we legitimately could consider just doing Vegas. It's insane.
Never mind the whole deal with Revel and what happened there.

Barf. So hard to get your own place in this state. At first I wanted to move into a studio or 1-bedroom apartment, but they're too expensive in my area, so I decided to try finding someone to room with in a 2-bedroom apartment instead. This week, I put up an ad on Craigslist and signed up for roomiematch.com. I got several matches from the latter and emailed 11 people, and only got 2 responses thus far. One isn't sure yet since she still wants to consider other options, and the other had been looking for a new roommate but ended up having to resign her current lease with her existing roommate.
On Craigslist, even after I edited my listing to specify at the top that I will only consider APARTMENTS (not a room in someone's house) ONLY in the specific towns that I listed, the only responses I've gotten might as well say "DID NOT READ LOL".Make Fihe Not Fat Again.
