Seriously though I don't find not giving up his phone to be that damning. That's pretty intrusive, there is plenty of sensitive information on phones. He has the trust of a lot of famous people who gave him private phone #s, he probably talks about his finances and has private convos he doesn't want Ted Wells to read, can't really blame him. He could have a side piece and end up getting divorced over this for all we know. It looks like he knew these guys were deflating the balls but I understand not giving up the phone.

IMO the report paints a real ugly picture of Tom Brady. He very much seems to have knowledge of this and seems to even be the most logical candidate to have conceived the idea.

That said, this report looks ghastly in terms of finding a conclusive resolution. 4 months and 243 pages later, with all of the technology and full-access information, we are only given "probable" and "probably" and that's it. The investigation is over. We will never be given more than "eeehhh we kinda still think they did it" and that frustrates me

It's very easy to see how this can be misconstrued as Goodell not wanting to drop the ball on yet another NFL issue on his watch as commissioner, and so rather than have this look poorly upon him, the NFL as a whole, and one of its most thriving organizations, it all falls on the player and minor personnel's shoulders

The whole thing was supposed to be conclusively wrapped up, I don't get how hard it is to figure this thing out, and yet we'll never get a concrete answer.

Rodgers said he likes the towards the higher end, Brady the lower, you can deflate without going below the legal limit. And then we need to put some blame on the refs for checking before they approved the balls.

Its only a huge story because its the patriots. Falcons pump fake crowd noise in there stadium no one bats an eye and the NFL gives them a small fine. If the falcons deflated balls no one would care.
