I made $100k last year and realistically worked just under 6 months. My buddy was at $180k in 10 months.

I moved to where the job market was better and started working at a temp agency. I was applying at better places while working there. Eventually I got a call. The first year sucked. The second year sucked less.

Pharmacist. Base salary is around 135, but I had 90+ hours of overtime, didn't take any vacation so I got paid for that as well (another 80 hours), and store success bonus. Taxes raped me (over 50k) but I should get a good chunk back with the tax refund check.

People always spread these rumors about underwater welding online and in real life when they have no clue what the fuk they are talking about. SOME underwater welders make 6 figures easy. Deep water, dangerous stuff that you wouldn't be doing as a new person on the job.
To be an underwater welder you have to go to commercial dive school which can cost anywhere from 15-30 thousand dollars. Then you have to have underwater welding training, which also costs quite a bit of money. The odds of someone becoming an underwater welder are not very high.
