AI's always helps me a lot, making me less soft, drop water weight and increasing muscle hardness.

Aromatase Inhibitor that indirectly boosts testosterone. The most common are ATD, AT ( 6-OXO ), 6-Bromo. They can do wonders on a cut if you have all in order.

Another way to increase the "hardness look" is to better your myogenic tone of the muscle. to do this use lower rep ranges such as 4-8, and the reason behind this is that the body will keep more motor units at a slight tension even at rest.

I got some samples of Con-Crete creatine a while back. A lot of people have reported that it makes your muscles feel "harder". I noticed the same effect. Not necessarily bigger, but more solid.
You might want to try it.

Change your workout routine for a month or so. Do lighter weight more reps and see what that does for you.
