Lots of good coping methods in here, and some could be considered even more than just coping I think, possibly even solutions.

You should be sort of aggressive with yourself.

If you feel anxious or depressed, sit down, plant both feet on the ground, and say to yourself, "What is making me feel this way? Do I feel depressed, or am I just reacting to something that's happening outside of me? Can I control whatever is causing me to feel this way? If I can, then why do I feel this way? If I can't--then why am I letting this chit bother me?"

Whenever I start to panic, I sit myself down and tell myself that I have a lot of worthwhile things to work towards.

Whenever I start to feel depressed, I work out, then shower, exfoliate, and put on some makeup (I wouldn't recommend that part)--then I sit myself down and tell myself that I have a lot of worthwhile things to work towards.

Those wretched negative feelings are strong, but they're usually grounded in irrationality.

I drink a lot of water and honestly a paper bag helps a bit if I'm having an attack. I keep telling myself I'm gonna get better. Like the misc says. We're all gonna make it

Believe it or not, lots of stretching (yoga) with relaxing music. Controlling my breathing helps me relax too. Also going for long drives with a friend or something.

Nothing better than a nature hike, I live out in the country and it's good to just walk through the back trails

Also I throw in the occasional green cigarette, clears the mind very well

IMO, nothing helps you feel better than helping someone else. Do a good deed, volunteer. Take $10 to the dollar store, fill it up.with crap, and send it to some kid in a 3rd world country to make his/her year.

Also, when you feel negative, stop and take a minute to count your blessings. Give thanks for all the good you have in your life.

Last, for those times when it seems like your problems are pressing down on you almost to the point that you can't take it, take a deep breath and "lift" those problems up to God. You don't have to shoulder the burden alone. You can almost physically feel the weight being lifted when you remember that He is there for you.

really depends, didnt give us much to work with op, but socializing with family/friends, or setting up some events(going out),it really helps keep ur mind off w/e is depressing you and allows you to see that theres a lot more in life (srs).

It's best to keep it general, I think a lot of this stuff can be used for a lot of different scenarios, and also it's not just for me, it's for everyone, so no need to be really specific

Meditate, listen to music, run with my dog.

Seriously, spend just 10 minutes a day staying still, closing your eyes, focusing on your breathing and listening to some smooth relaxing music, it does wonders. Going for a run is a great dopamine releaser.

Getting drunk doesn't help...other than making u not care for a few hours...but that usually just makes chit a lot worse and isn't a good long term plan at all

I go on a kill streak on COD or Battlefield 4
Or sometimes I play FIFA

I listen to some MGK or something soothing lol or classical piano music (Midnight Sonata is my fav)

If I'm really depressed, I just sit in my room and meditate...
This usually makes me calm down and get over the thoughts of "what if I would kill myself"

It gets hard at times when you feel worthless but in the end We're all gonna make it brahs

Lifting is a definite - dedicate hater reps to whatever is bothering me (thanks JG)
writing in my journal
listening to certain songs/artists that remind me of the periods of time in my life I listened to them the most
I have a spot in the woods near my old house that I go to every time I need to meditate/get away from my family... went there for a few hours when my grandparents died, my dog died, etc. When I came back I had put it behind me.

Most importantly, when something goes wrong I always keep in my mind that even if I feel like **** right now time heals everything

Seeing everyone having fun there with their friends kinda forces me to cheer up just to fit in a little more.
Also, I try to pick up a Sloot and get laid. By next morning i dont remember what I was upset about

Same here my german shepherds such a character/baby he cant help but cheer you up, got an akita aswell shes beautiful but more serious. Need her for the guarding though as the shepherds a big 130lb coward (imagine scooby doo) he even sits on my lap when the garbage men come.
