My gym was flooded with all the curl bros that come at night since they close early today. It was also filled with people on every piece of cardio equipment hoping to negate the 7000 calories they are going to eat today lmao.
I do wonder, these people have no end date or end goal as far as fitness, why even show up when they are going to destroy what they are attempting to? Its not like these people count calories as they havent changed composition in years so they have a systematic approach to what they are eating/burning off. I still count calories because i dont celebrate this stuff but i wonder if its wishful thinking of hoping its going to erase the damage they do :lThere is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

deducting 5 points when that happens. sry
what kind of social justice?
...
i wore a tight sweater to keep me in line for the first round.
plus i ate boiled egg whites with a big salad for dinner last night, and egg whites with a small coffee for breakfast this morning.
all indications are good. i should be disciplined through dinner also. no-one had plowed so i couldn't get to the gym earlier.start where you are

My gloating needs restraint, so I will confine it to haiku:
A tiny tyrant
And her hairy midget dog
Watched the whiners lose.
Two interceptions
By Richard ****ing Sherman
Makes Harbaugh's spit fly.
Colin Kaepernick:
A hundred million dollars
Totally well-spent.
Hooray, hooray, woooo!
The 49ers got beat!
Totally awesome!

Reply from the Znik, awesome!
Would you think it's a good idea to kick start this process with overeating carbs highly for a day? Say 2-3k over maintenance? Fat under 50gr, so basically a refeed with an extreme surplus.
I'm asking since I have been cutting on quite a big deficit and feel pretty ****ty, 3 days into maintenance so far. I would do this to fasten the progress of recovery and to quite frankly not feel so bad right now (sleep issues, cold, lethargic etc.).
Then continue maintenance for another 1-2 weeks and go back to cutting.
Thanks already and nice to see you back, you already helped me big time once, maybe you remember.

I have estimated the maintenance calories and went 100-200 calories under it, just to be safe.
To me this is not a binge at all. I'm not doing this because I want to destroy tons of foods or anything, I only want to better my well-being, and eating at a big surplus in the form of carbs might aid with that. It could have some detrimental effects, but maybe the positive effects outweigh this, given my current situation? I'm not too sure, that's why I'm asking.

I am just saying that there was a half-gallon when I arrived, and only a handful of small scoops were consumed by someone other than yours truly. When I left, there was maybe a pint.
I am a little scared to put on my size 30 action pants this morning.
I think ice cream is my number one food kryptonite.
But at least my team's quarterback didn't look like a deer caught in headlights last night. Barbrox is probably really depressed, not sure if she should take down her shirtless Kaepernick posters.Way more Xtreme Fitbitter than MissLadyJ or kureransu

Nope, that would just be a excuse to binge. Refeeds in most cases are not necessary at all unless you drop below 10% bf or is insanely active with high intensity activity.
Judging from your post you are still planning to cut for a while ? Going to maintenance to get hormonal levels back to normal and then back to cutting makes no sense, as once you start cutting again hormone levels will drop.
A refeed with low fat is purely to replenish glycogen stores, it will do little for hormonal levels. And again, there is no need for a carb refeed unless you have been cutting for weeks/months on low carb, as in most cases you will not be glycogen depleted. If you have been cutting for a while and need a break you can do a few days at maintenance and then go back to cutting, anything besides that is fairly pointless unless you are very lean.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

My Thanksgiving didn't go as planned. Had to stop eating after the first round, and it was mostly salad. Oh well, and oh yeah, I got a BIG piece of humble pie.
GOTT
DANG
IT
I was kinda hoping that maybe, just maybe, you missed my little post from earlier this week.
I got no comeback. It was terrible.
Action pants? You wear compression tights too?
Luckily all my shirtless posters are of Tom Brady.

I was going to ignore your post in case we got creamed, but it was the other way around. I respond selectively as I enjoy gloating but hate admitting defeat or to being wrong. I got that from my dad.
My action pants are Costco Urban Star jeans comprised of the same miracle stretch fabric that apparently women have been aware of for years and has only recently been made available to men. If you ever see me in the male equivalent of spanx pants - wait, you won't.
I wear action pants when I am downtown and need to protect small business owners from thugs extorting protection money. Bad guys will be out in force today with all the Black Friday cash in the registers.
They actually fit OK, but I didn't put them on in front of a mirror.Way more Xtreme Fitbitter than MissLadyJ or kureransu

That would be either me, barb, or caprica. lel
Happy Thanksgiving all. I done got fat, gained around 8lbs. Had a great workout today though so, I ain't even mad. Starting OBF contest tomorrow so I'll behave for the rest of the holidays and maybe even finally lean bulk 10-12 weeks from now. My man is in the contest too so I think it will make it so much easier <3Last edited by missladyj; 11-28-2014 at 05:55 PM.
