Are we talking people who actually led armies into battle, or emperors/rulers, too?
Qin shi huangdi is definitely up there... First emperor of China, the oldest nation in the world.
Ramses II
Khalid bin Walid
Mehmet II

I heard of every emperor/leader listed in the OP but none that you mentioned.

The first man to unify China was a regional ruler? What are you saying?
Also, I thought we were talking brilliance, too. Not just land mass.
Mehmet II had his men drag his fleet over land in order to conquer Constantinople. He is one of the most famous conquerors of all time.
Ramses II was the greatest Pharoah of all time, in what was then the mightiest empire on earth.
Rommel and Saladin need no introduction.

The guys I posted guys have quality and quantity in their titles and are also more known. They'd beaten the best of the best at that time and also conquer a lot of land mass, along with influencing the conquered regions.
Most of the guys you mentioned don't hold a candle to the guys I posted in quantity of area cnquered and quality of opponents.
No hard feels tho, Mehmet, Ramses and Rommel are cool guys in my book. But they are a tier underneath these guys.★ Real Madrid C.F. ★

At least 1-3% of the world can trace their lineage to Genghis Khan guy had game. Add in the fact that he had to work from a single tribe to the khan of Mongolia then take over most of Asia middle east and Europe he's the best

Damn. No love for Timur, Attila or Cyrus it seems
Cyrus imo is underrated as fuark. Took out the Babylons at their peak.
srs mirin the conquerors from back then. Their names are forever burned into history.
brb title "Roman the Undefeated"
Napoleon has insane feats too. brb France vs Great Britain, Russia, Austria, Spain, Portugal and Prussia. 5 being world-powers at the time.Last edited by TheAntiMonitor; 11-26-2014 at 06:48 PM.

No hate, but all the aforementioned leaders in the OP I feel had larger accomplishments than your mentioned ones (although I suppose one may make a claim for walid)
And tbh, I don't know why you mentioned Rommel. Of all the Nazi generals, Manstein was the superior general. Rommel was no doubt a competent general and an excellent divisional commander, but he lacked foresight and vision of the "bigger picture" that is innate with all good generals.
I understand the romanticism Rommel gets for his good standing morals and performance in the desert, but he is very overrated as a general, especially compared to the likes of Manstein, Guderian and Patton.
