Alright guys Im taking a D3 break. Not sure when and if I'll come back.

No desire to regrind ancient versions of all my gear
Can get a game in clan 10% of the time; no desire to join an elite clan because of time constraints --> stuck in limbo.
Less and less faith in this current Developers team - RendWind Barb set worse than current Whirlwind builds, no creativity (hey lets just make a new tier of exactly the same legs), cheesy mechanics, yo-yo buffs/nerfs, stash stubborness and Devs who don't know uberdiablo is in the game. Blizz COO said at the end of blizz con "we can't let Diablo rot on the vine too long" - too little too late.
Cleared 30+ on every class except monk and 39 on Barb. Wanted 40 but just doing 1 trial grosses me out at this point.

on a side note cleared a 4 man grift 47 with ckbrah ashanu and a sader without an smk. I also can't believe how useful a sader is in higher grifts!

and for those who arent playing because golden items will invalidate theirs...that only applies for weapons..armor is a nice boost..but wont be easily attainable and not THAT huge a boost

about 2-3% per slot.
15% toughness/damage gain potentially from armor alone
Basically a free rift tier or two- and much faster T6.

But yeah, every time I'm tempted to play I think of the mindless RNG grind now and Im like f--k it. I almost wish they would bring back the Auction House at this point.

PS - my support crusader is 99% fully geared - need 2-3 more rerolls. But yeah, thinking of going to the mystic and getting on that RNG hamster wheel kills all my enthusiasm.

I guess this game just finally managed to grief me out.
- Grift variability is literally +/- 5 levels. Zombie rift = GG Level 40. Armadons and Golgors = Game Over Level 35. \
- Trial RNG
- Rift Guardian RNG
- Rerolling over and over - my DH is at 45million PER ROLL on his chest and he still doesnt have 15% sentry
- Rare items that can roll terribly
- 5-10% GG Tier
- You're either supercasual or superelitist now - nothing in between

So much endless needless grief and inconsistency.

Last time I played, I got on my demon hunter to start the 40 key trial farming process. I looked outside my office's window and saw the world was waiting for me and said - "that's enough". My only regret is not clearing 40 but I'm OK with 39 at this point.

The templar nerf really pisses me off. Generaters already blow, yet they nerf the one thing that allowed people to make due. SMH Blizzard.

im sure they're gonna tweak it once it goes live. but they def just got better in PTR...their sentries cast the same CA with another increase in damage... da fuk.

Never tried the helltrapper build for DH, but is that build pretty much dead in the next patch since night stalker passive is changed to a hatred generator instead of discipline?

Haven't played D3 in weeks, but will definitely come back for new patch whenever that is.

Tried the PTR. Density / rescaled damage = +2 levels for Barb.
Pylons = +2 levels if conduits.

Someone on Barb already cleared GR56 in less than 10 mins.

New M6 set is insane. My crappy cold DH's maelstrom one shotting RGs in T6. Nerf is inevitable.

Barb is going to be FOTM again.

upon reflection the PTR makes the game comically broken and ridiculous. Someone cleared 60 on Barb this morning with a double conduit. I main Barb and even I think that's fn stupid.

ptr is ptr brah, it isn't live. that's what the ptr is for, to test new patches and tweak.

i think they'd be pretty dumb to give the current 2.1.2 a thumbs up and throw it on live after ptr is done.

scratch that, lightning bells are clearing way faster than fire. spirit management isnt that tough either compared to cindercoat+fire bell

Been awhile since i've logged in and played more than 10-15 minutes. I've been running games with a group of guys on Tiberian Sun. I think i'll be playing alot more if the monk gets buffed enough or they make WW viable alone for barbs.
