I've had three Boxers. They are great companions and are very alert and energetic. The first two were named Gypsy and Rocky. My current Boxer puppy is named Zeus which I think is a pretty cool and unique name.

Yep. I rescued him when he was approx 10 years old, thinking I'd be able to give him a good 6 months. (He had a grade 3 MCT, severe trauma to both testes and lots of other problems.) my dog was rescued from the city. he was in an abusive home, then shelter, then rescue. he absolutely hates all dogs male or female and will go after them any chance possible(which is why i hardly walk him). he also will go after men that he dosent trust. we got him when he was about a year and a few months.
